This week I want to talk about our parish ministries. Thank you, Barbara Hansen and Jen Smith! Unfortunately, since mid-March 2020 a Fr. Michael lot of our ministries were put on hold because of this COVID-19 pandemic. Of course, the safety and health of our parishioners are our priority concerns. That is why when we were allowed to return to the church to worship and celebrate the sacraments, including especially the Eucharist, we made sure the safety and health protocols were (and still are) in place to protect everyone from this terrible virus. Some safety protocols are wearing face masks at all times during Mass, observing social distancing, frequent hand washing, and having hand-sanitizer available to use. Our church, including the bathrooms, are cleaned and sanitized regularly in between Masses.

Since mid-June, our parishioners are starting to come back to worship in faith and celebrate the sacraments with us.

Our parish Senior Ministry is slowly coming back. [See photos.] They have been meeting outdoors. In fact, their last meeting was a Halloween-inspired motif. They shared their knowledge, faith, food (individually wrap-meal), laughter, and smiles. Trust me – behind their face-masks are smiling faces. You might ask why they are smiling. It is because they enjoy the company and the presence of one another. Most of the time, I would stop by and say hello. I would try to mention their names personally. I love MORE SENIOR MINISTRY PICTURES
