eiitio GRP is the net measure of ealth generated by the region. GRP can be measured by using the incomes approach, here all incomes earned by individuals ages and salaries, firms gross operating surplus and governments taes on products or services are added. Alternatively an ependiture approach can be taen here all forms of final ependiture, including consumption by households, consumption by governments, additions or increases to assets minus disposals and eports minus imports, are added. The ependiture approach does not include intermediate ependiture, as this ould lead to double counting. eg. the heat and flour in a loaf of bread. These methodological approaches are the same as those used to calculate Gross State Product GSP at a state level and Gross omestic Product GP at a national level.
