Welcome Back!

As we approach opening day for welcoming you back to mass, we want to take this opportunity to let you know that several chang- es are in place that will help us all to stay safe during this pandemic.

1. Dispensation: Please keep in mind that the obligation to attend Mass is dispensed through Sunday, August 2. Stay home, it’s OK and join us through our live stream Mass on Facebook or through our website if any of the following apply: a. If you or a family member feel sick with a cold, cough or flu-like symptoms, please stay home. b. If you are +65 years old, or at a high risk for catching COVID-19, please stay home. c. If you have small children, whom you feel maybe cannot “sit still” during Mass and you may have a hard time, please stay home. The Cry Room will not be open. 2. Doors open ½ hour before mass: Arrive at least 15 minutes before mass. Why? There is a process we need to follow when you come for mass. Sanitize hands, be seated for Mass. We will help you. 3. Capacity 200: We are blessed with a large church. We are able to use every-other pew for Mass. Each Mass will be limited to 200 people. The pews have been marked so you know where to sit. 4. Color Coded Pews and Sections: We will have four color coded sections. These sections will help us distribute Communion faster. Please see #12 below. 5. Sanitize: Please remember to use sanitizer as you enter into the church. Sanitizer is provided for you by each of the inside glass church doors. 6. Wear a mask: We strongly encourage you to wear a mask. 7. Social Distance: Please stay 6 feet apart from people that you do not live with. 8. Sit in designated pews: Pews are marked, please look for “color coded” signs. 9. Do not kneel: We are trying to make it easier to clean our church between masses. Father will let us know when to stand and when to sit. 10. No physical contact: We will not hold hands during the “Our Father” nor shake hands during the “Sign of Peace”. Bow to your neighbor. 11. 30-45 minute Mass: We will make sure that we do our best to make Mass as short as possible. 12. Communion: We will distribute Communion differently. The final blessing will be given and then Communion will be distribut- ed. Please stay in your pews. We will come to you. We will start from the back and work forward. Please either receive Com- munion or indicate that you would like a blessing by crossing your arms. 13. Communion in the hand only: We will distribute Communion only in Bread Form and in the hand only. No Cup will be offered. 14. Leave after Communion: As you receive communion, please exit the church quietly, respecting social distancing. After receiving communion, please take a moment, in your cars, to give thanks to God for the gift of the Eucharist. 15. Be safe – don’t take risks: We miss you and want to see you again, but please be safe.

Celebrating Special Events: We continue to honor and pray for our community in this way.

• We celebrated Holy Week via Facebook • We prayed the Novena for Divine Mercy • We celebrated Mary during the month of May and celebrating May Crowning • We celebrated Pentecost as a community • We held a Mass to honor our mothers for Mother’s Day, May 10th. • We created a Class of 2020 tree in the church and hung stars with our graduate’s names to remember them and recognize their wonderful achievements the weekend of May 31st. • We are praying for the victims of abuse through our blue ribbon campaign on June 13 & 14. • We will honor our fathers on Father’s Day, June 21st. Join us in prayer for all of our community.

ORACION DE COMUNION ESPIRITUAL

Creo, Jesús mío, que estás verdaderamente presente ahora y siempre porque con el Padre y el Espíritu Santo eres Dios, y Dios está por todos lados en todo momento. Pero por tu grandeza y los límites de mis cinco sentidos no puedo siempre reconocer y sentir tu presencia. Necesito señales que me hagan sentir tu presencia. Y la señal más poderosa para mi es el momento en que comulgo, cuando recibo tu Cuerpo y Sangre en Comunión.

Pero no puedo recibir Comunión en este momento por la Pandemia que estamos sufriendo. Por eso te pido que me ayudes a sentir más profundamente en este momento de Comunión espiritual – y, por favor en otros minutos -- tu presencia, tu amor, tu apoyo en mis dificultades y tentaciones, tu perdón de mis fallas. Y ahora, como si ya te hubiera recibido, me uno y me abrazo todo a ti. No permitas, Señor, que jamás me separe de ti.

Anima Christi Alma de Cristo, santifícame. Cuerpo de Cristo, sálvame. Sangre de Cristo, embriágame. Agua del costado de Cristo, lávame. Pasión de Cristo, confórtame. ¡Oh, buen Jesús!, óyeme.
