Current humanitarian interven ons are beset by im‐ perfect informa on and arguably inflated IDP figures and both problems are targeted by this pilot ini a ve. On behalf of the IOM DRC Chief of Mission, Ms. VAN HOOF thanked the provincial authori es for their sup‐ port and a endance at the ceremony.

The second training session was organized from the 24th to the 26th of June, 2014 in Masisi Centre, North Kivu. Twenty‐nine individuals, including five staff from the Gov‐ ernment of DRC (CNR), par cipated in the training. The focus of the training was on current site manage‐ ment partners of IOM DRC and relevant Governmental authori es, in par cular CNR, the current Governmen‐ tal site administrator agency. The trainings intend to increase par cipants capacity to effec vely contribute to opera ons related to displacement site manage‐ ment.
The first training took place in Goma from the 10th of June un l the 12th of June, 2014. During the three‐day session, 26 par cipants from current IOM DRC partner Organiza ons par cipated.
