The visit to the District offices by the Auditor General and his delegation came on the conclusion of his provincial ‘door- to-door’ campaign.

The event was also attended by the MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mlibo Qoboshiyane; Executive Mayor of the Amathole District Municipality, Cllr Nomasikizi Konza, who was representing the South African Local Government Association (SALGA); Cacadu District Municipality councillors and officials as well as Mayors from the local municipalities.
