Abbiati-Maratta block Given the district extent and complexity, I focused on one block. I chose the one between Via Abbiati and Via Maratta, because it contains all the potentialities identified with the district mapping and analysis: the public space decline; parts of courtyards currently unused; empty and unused spaces on ground floor; flats smaller than 28,80 m2; many win- 05 PROJECT STRATEGIES dowless walls. I tried to apply to this block all the strategies developed at district level. So a test on a block that could then be replicated in other situations and parts of the district.
