DIRECTIONS BY CAR

From Guildford, Farnham and north east, Take the A31 heading southwest, then take the turning off at B3004 towards Alton; follow the main road for just under a mile, and Anstey Lane is on the right. After about 0.3 mile look for the blue sign by the driveway into Alton School on the right.

From Winchester and south west, take A31 heading northeast through and . Don’t follow the first signs into Alton centre, but continue on A31 Alton bypass until the B3004 turn-off. Then follow directions above.

From Portsmouth and south, take A3 to the bypass, and turn off on the B3006 towards Alton. At the A31, follow the Alton bypass until the B3004 turn-off. Then follow directions above.

From Basingstoke and the north take A339 towards Alton then turn left on Old Avenue, past airfield to Golden Pot. Then follow Road for a very short distance before turning right onto Old Odiham Road. After about 2 miles turn left onto Gilbert White Way for half a mile, then turn right onto Anstey Lane. After about 0.3 mile look for the blue sign by the driveway into Alton School on the left.

BY TRAIN: Alton station is on the Alton Branch Line with services from Farnham, Woking and London Waterloo every half hour. (See South West Rail timetable). To walk from the station, follow Station Road northeast until meeting Anstey Road. Turn right and proceed along Anstey Road for about 0.3 mile, then turn left on to Anstey Lane for about 0.3 mile and the entrance to the School is on the right. Or take the 65 bus (See timetable)

BY BUS: The 65 bus runs hourly from Guildford to Alton via Farnham. Alight at the Anstey Lane or Manor Road stop. (See timetable). The 13 bus runs hourly from Basingstoke bus station via Hook and Odiham to Alton High Street (See timetable) then change to the 65 towards Guildford. Bus 64 runs half hourly from Winchester bus station via Alresford and Four Marks to Alton High Street (see timetable) then change to the 65 towards Guildford.
