The word “RAMA” has been described as “ Yoginaam Hrudayi Ramante Iti Ramah ” • Editorial (The one who always resides in the hearts of Yogis is called Rama). The “Rama Tatva” • Sahasranama Bhashya • News (Principle of Rama) has eternally existed in the universe and will continue to do so • Archives forever. It is that Paratatva (i.e. Parabrahma) which steers everyone across the ocean of the mundane existence, kindles the fire of bhakti in the heart of a Sadhaka, enlivens the flame of Jnana in him which dispels the darkness of Ajnana and enables the sadhaka to identify HIMSELF with the PARATATVA (i.e. Atmasakshatkara). In a nut-shell the word RAMA is same as the word GURU, though the words sound different the essential functionality is the same.

Our GURU- Lord Sai is the same ancient “Rama Tatva” who leaves no stone unturned in liberating a saadhaka from this samsara and giving him Atmasakshatkara. Hence we all lovingly call him “SAI RAMA”.

197) OM SRI SAI ICCHAMOHA NIVARTAKAAYA NAMAH

[Meaning: - Salutations to Lord Sai who regulates and finally liberates his devotees from their desires and attachment]

Iccha (wish) and Moha (desire or attachment) are like bosom friends which bind a spiritual aspirant in their fetters and delay his progress further. Now the comes the next question- If Iccha and Moha are considered so basal by nature, then even contemplating to get Moksha is also an Iccha? Is Moha towards worship of Lord wrong? If so, then how can Iccha and Moha be a sinister duo?

It is true that wishing for Moksha and the Desire to worship Lord is not wrong, but one should always remember goal of this very ideation should be- Wishing for that (Ultimate) where you transcend all “the act of wishing for something” (Iccharahita and Icchateetah) and a desire to worship which finally makes us “desire less” and “detached” (Nirmoha). The very reason for which the author of this sahasranam wrote this naama was to hint to all the bhaktas about the Maaya (Illusion) that can engulf an Adhyaatma Sadhaka en process of his sadhana. The path of Adhyatma is full of obstacles; it tries to delude the sadhaka at every point of time, initially a sadhaka may start of very well with the “desire to get liberated” and “the wish to worship”, but during the travel, if he is not able to control his vasanas and the desires born out of the same , then the very purpose of his journey suffers a backlog. The author (H.H.Sri Narasimha Swamiji) clearly states to us that if we should be true saadhakas then our desire and wish should be directed to the “Goal Ultimatum” alone.

This is possible only when we resort to a Sadguru’s Feet. Sai Satcharitra clearly proclaims that if we make the GURU our helmsman, then there is no fear of this mundane existence for sure HE would steer us to our final abode. Our only kartavya is to hold onto him tightly with no doubts in our mind about HIS POWER.

1. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan honours Wrestling Competition Winners – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi

On the occasion of Shri Ramanavami festival, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) and local villagers of Shirdi had jointly organized a Wrestling (Kusti) Competition under both urban and rural categories. In this competition Shri.Machhindra Jape from Dohale and Shri.Vilas Dohipade from Kokmattan were declared as winners under Rural and Urban categories respectively. The winners were felicitated with Silver Mace and Sai Kesari Book by the Wrestling Committee Chairman Shri.Mukundrao Kote.

2. Sri Ramanavami Celebration 2015 at Shirdi – A Report – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi.

Shri Ramanavami utsav organized by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan started on a very good note on Friday, 27th March 2015 .The entire Shirdi town reverberated with huge Sai Naam Jaykar from lakhs of Sai devotees who came along with Palanquins from various places of Maharashtra and different parts of the country and took Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi darshan in this festival which was started by Shri Sai Baba himself.

On the first day of the festival, after the morning Kakad Aarti, procession of Saibaba's Portrait, Idol, Veena and the holy Sai Satcharitra were taken out upto Dwarkamai. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav carried the sacred Pothi Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde & Mandir’s Chief Shri.Navnath Kote carried Baba’s photographs. Sansthan’s Purohit Shri.Narayan Bise carried the Veena and participated in the procession.

After the procession reached Dwarkamai Akhanda Shri Sai Satcharitra parayan was started. Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav read the 1st Chapter, Deputy Executive Officer Shri. Appa Saheb Shinde read the 2nd chapter.

Earlier in the morning Baba’s Pada Pooja was performed with due religious custom and tradition by the Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav and his wife.

Shri Dwarkamai Mandali, Mumbai erected a huge structure and also decorated the Samadhi Mandir and surrounding places with colourful lightings. There was a huge crowd to see this wonderful creation by Shri Dwarakamai Mandali.

Today being the first day of Shri Ramanavami utsav, Dwarakamai was kept open throughout the night for darshan and Akhanda Parayan.

There was a very good response for the programme of Kumbharati Dance by Dr.V.Y. Acharya from Secundrabad, & Musical SAI Katha programme by H.B.P Sainath Maharaj Rahane from Bahadarpur at Sai Nagar Grounds

Anticipating huge crowd turnout, proper arrangements were made by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan to avail darshan for all the devotees. Drinking water facility had been arranged in the queue complex.

Due to the generous contributions from Shri.Suryakanth Awasthi, Bhopal, Smt.Anantha Lakshmi, Elluru, Smt.Sudha Bhajirao Patil, Bhiwandi, Smt.Usha Rani Kamal & Smt.Deepa Solanki, Karnal, free Prasad Bhojan in the Prasadalay had been organized today.

28th March 2015, Saturday being the main day of Sri Ramanavami festival, Pooja was performed to Sai Baba’s Samadhi and Padukas with the holy water brought by devotees in Kavdi (Vessel to carry holy water) from Godavari River, Pooja to new Wheat Bag was performed by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Chairman Shri.Vinay Joshi & Smt.Revathi Joshi. Due to the generous contributions from ananymous Sai Devotees, a new Air Conditioner worth Rs.90 Lakhs which was installed at the Samadi Mandir was inaugurated by Shri. Vinay Joshi and his wife Smt.Revathi Joshi. Sansthan’s Chief Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav, Deputy Executive officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde, Head of Electric Department Shri.Vijay Rohmare and Mechanical Department Head Shri.Atul Vagh were also present on the occasion.

After Kakad Aarti, Akhanda parayan of Shri Sai Satcharitra was completed at Dwarakamai. The holy book of Shri Sai Satcharitra pothi was brought from Dwarakamai in procession along with Baba’s Photograph and Veena via Gurusthan to Samadhi Mandir. In this procession Sansthan’s Tri member committee Chairman & Chief District & Sessions Court Judge Shri.Vinay Joshi & His wife carried Pothi, Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav & Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appa Saheb Shinde carried Baba’s Photo & Mandir Chief Shri.Navnath Kote carried the Veena.

Jala Abhishek was performed to the Samadhi and Idol of Shri Sai Baba at the Samadhi Mandir with the sacred water brought from Godavari river in Kavdi (Vessel to carry/pour water) by over 3000 devotees.

In the morning at 10:30 a.m. Shri.H.B.P.Vikram Nandedkar performed the Kirtan on the birth of Lord Shri Rama.

At noon before Madhyanha Aarti new flag pooja was performed by the descendants of Sai Mahabhakta Late Shri.Rasne & Late Shri.Nana Saheb Nimonkar in a ritualstic way & at 4:00 p.m. the Flag’s Procession was conducted. At 5:00 p.m. Baba’s Chariot Procession was taken around Shirdi village. In this procession large number of devotees participated.

Due to the generous contributions from Sri.Vivani Raichaudri, Sri.Bhudmal,Shri.Surendra Tulashi Kamal Dugar, Kolkata, Shri.Virendra Sundaram New Delhi, Smt.Sai Villi Shreeja Sudish Bangalore, Smt.Bharati Shirgurkar Bangalore, free Prasad Bhojan had been organized to all devotees at Sai Prasadalay.

There was an attractive flower decoration in and around Sansthan Temple Complex due to the generous contribution by Indo Rama Synthetics from Nagpur, and a big lighting decoration at the entrance near Gurusthan & temple premises by Dwarkamai Mandali from Mumbai attracted the special attention of Sai Devotees.

28th March 2015, Saturday, being the main day of the Shri Ramnavami Utsav Samadhi Mandir was kept open throughout the night for darshan. Lakhs of devotees had darshan of Shri Sai Baba.

The Third and concluding day of Shri Ramnavami Utsav was held on Sunday, 29th March 2015.

Conclusion of Ramnavmi Utsav which was started on Friday, 27th March 2015 by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) was done with Kalyachi Keertan (to mark the end/ Conclusion) by Shri.H.B.P Vikram Maharaj Nandedkar in a very Joyful environment.

A Sai Devotee from Bangalore Shri.Shailesh Patil generously donated a Chapati Making Machine worth Rs.18 Lakh to Sai Prasadalaya. The Chapati Making Machine was inagurated after the ritualistic pooja by Sasnthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav and his wife Smt.Sarita Jadhav. This Automatic machine has a capacity of making 3000 chapati’s per hour. With the installing of this Machine, more and more Chapati’s will be made avaialbe instead of puri at Sai Prasadalaya.

Earlier in the morning Rudrabhishek was performed by Sansthan’s Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav at Gurusthan Temple.

Tri Member Committee Chairman and District and Session Court Judge Shri. Vinay Joshi performed Saibaba’s Pada Pooja at Samadi Mandir.

At 12 noon Kalyachi Keertan (to mark the end/ Conclusion) & Dahihandi programe by Shri.H.B.P Vikram Maharaj Nandedkar was held. Immediately after the Dahihandi programme Madhyana Aarti was performed.

Due to the generous contribution from Shri.Karanam Narayan from Hyderabad and Shri.Sunil Agarwal from Mumbai on the last day, free Prasad Bhojan was served to all devotees at Sai Prasadalaya.

To enable comfortable stay for Padayatris who came to Shirdi along with Palanquins, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan administration had made free staying arrangements in Sai Ashram-2.

On the main day of the festival i.e., on Saturday,28th March 2015, around 70,000 devotees were served with free prasad bhojan at Sai prasadalaya. Similarly Shri Sai Baba Sansthan distributed around 90,000 Ladu packets as prasad in the darshan queue.

Felicitation was done on behalf of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan to all the workers (office bearers) of Dwarkamai Mandali, Mumbai who were actively involved in colourful light decoration in and around the Samadhi Mandir and for erecting huge structures in the temple premises with different scenes for Ramnavami & Samadhi Day Utsav for the last 37 years.

3. Union Minister of State for Panchayat Raj Shri.Nihal Chand Meghwal visit to Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Union Minister of State for Panchayat Raj Shri.Nihal Chand Meghwal visited Shirdi on Saturday, 28th March 2015 and had darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi.

4. Sri Rama Navami Celebration 2015 at Shirdi – 2nd Press Release – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav informed media persons at a press conference held on Wednesday, 25th March 2015 that preparations for the upcoming Shri Ram Navami festival has been completed and will be celebrated from Friday, 27th March 2015 to Sunday, 29th April 2015 by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust ( Shirdi). Considering the influx of huge number of devotees during these 3 days of the festival to Shirdi, there will be no Sai Satyavrat (Satyanarayan) and Abhishek Pooja and also VIP Aarti / Darshan passes have been totally stopped. Samadi Mandir will be open throughout the night on the main day of the festival i.e on Saturday, 28th March 2015.

Shri.Jadhav said that devotees from different places from India and all over the world flock to Shirdi to celebrate this festival which was started by Shri Sai Baba more than 100 years back. To enable these devotees to have darshan in a very good manner, Sansthan has put up Tent (mantap) in the Sansthan premises. Also Police security, electricity & drinking water facility have been arranged. Along with this, for the benefit of padayatris coming along with the palanquins from Mumbai and surrounding places, Sansthan has put up Cloth Tents (Shamiyana) for sleeping and taking rest at different places on the highway's from Mumbai to Shirdi. In these tents, electricity and drinking water facility has been arranged. For this 10 water tankers has been arranged and 26 people have been entrusted with the responsibility of looking after the arrangements.

Emergency medical services through Mobile Clinic has been arranged on the routes from Sinnar to Shirdi for the benefit of padayatris. Hence no mobile clinic services will be available for the villages from 23rd March 2015 to 29th March 2015. Similarly in different places like Sansthan premises, darshan queue, Sai Ashram (1000 rooms), Sai Prasadalay, first aid facility has been arranged. In order to see that devotees get the Laddu packets easily during this festival, extra Laddus have been prepared using 210 quintal of Sugar. Due to contribution of Indo Rama Synthetics from Nagpur, Flower decoration has been organised in Samadhi Mandir and surrounding places of Sansthan. There will be a big lighting decoration at the entrance near Gurusthan by Dwarkamai Mandali from Mumbai.

On this auspicious occasion, various Cultural & Spiritual programmes have been arranged. On Friday 27th March 2015 at 7.30 p.m Kumbharati Dance programme by Dr.V.Y. Acharya from Secundrabad, at 9.00 p.m Musical SAI Katha programme by H.B.P Sainath Maharaj Rahane from Bahadarpur has been arranged.Similarly on Saturday, 28th March 2015 at 7.30 p.m Musical programme by Shri.Prasanth Kamble from Thane has been arranged. At 9.00 p.m Kuchipadi Dance programme by Sai Nandakala Committee , Vishakapatnam has been organized. On Sunday, 29th March 2015 , at 7.30 p.m Sai Bhajan Sandhya Programme by Shri.Atul Rakhe, Gujarat has been arranged. At 9:30 p.m. Pravachan programme by H.B.P Shri.Vishwanath Devkate Maharaj, Mohargad has been arranged. All these programmes will be held on a specially erected stage at Sai Nagar Grounds. Similarly on 27th March 2015 at 4.00 p.m, 28th March 2015 at 10.00 a.m & on 29th March 2015 at 10.30 a.m Melodious Keertan programme by Shri.H.B.P.Vikram Maharaj Nandedkar has been arranged at the Samadhi Mandir stage. Considering huge crowd during this festival, Sai Satyavrat (Satyanarayan Pooja) and Abhishek pooja, and issual of Aarti/ darshan passes by Public Relations Office has been completely stopped. Samadi Mandir will be open throughout the night on the main day of the festival i.e on 28th March 2015.

Gudi Padwa Festival was celebrated on Saturday, 21st March 2015 by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi). The Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde and his wife performed the traditional pooja to the "Gudi" on a post hoisted on top of the steeple of the Samadhi Mandir.

6. Shri Sai Leelamruth Book written with Rice, Mustard Seed and Til by Shri.Gajendra Vadonakar from Aurangabad handed over to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Shri.Gajendra Vadonkar from Aurangabad who has written Shri Sai Leelamruth Book using Rice, Mustard Seed and Til handed over the book to the Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Rajendra Yadav on Thursday, 19th March 2015. The Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde, Shri.Vijay Kote, all the Administrative Officers and Chief Accountant were also present on the occasion. 7. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan to provide more facilities for its House Keeping Staff – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

With a view to provide more facilities and safety measures for the House Keeping staff of Health Department of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust ( Shirdi), the Member of National Commission for House Keeping Staff Shri. Vijay Kumar has assured the House Keeping staff that in future more and more focus will be given in order to provide Security and other facilities for all the employees.

A Seminar was being organized on Wednesday, 18th March 2015 at 2 PM at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan’s Meeting Hall which was presided by the Member of National Commission for House Keeping Staff Shri Vijay Kumar. All the House Keeping Staff of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, the Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav, Deputy Executive Officer Shri. Appasaheb Shinde, Administrative Officers Shri.Bahusaheb Sable, Shri.S.N Gharkal,Shri.S.V.Ghame, Shri.D.T.Ugale, Shri.U.P.Gondkar and Chief of Medical Department Shri.Pandurang Kavde participated in the seminar.

To keep Sansthan and Sansthan’s premises clean and tidy, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan has kept 377 House Keeping Staff on both temporary and permanent basis. 667 House Keeping Staff have been hired on Contract Basis from an outsource agency. To ensure the safety of House Keeping Staff Rubber Boot, Rain Coat, Mask and Hand Gloves have been provided. Similarly all modern facilities have been provided. House and Medical facility for all the permanent employees ,and Medical facility for Contract Employees have also been provided. Shri.Vijay Kumar informed that free Medical Examination will be conducted for all the House Keeping Staff at Shri Sai Baba Hospital. He also instructed Sansthan to focus on providing more and more facilities and safety measures, Medical Check-up once in 3 months and changing of rooms for all the House Keeping Staff . 8. Mahindra & Mahindra Group donates Arjun Noha Tractor to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Mahindra & Mahindra Group donated Mahindra Arjun Noha Model Tractor worth Rs.7,50,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakh Fifty Thousand only) on Monday,16th March 2015 to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi). The Tractor Keys were handed over to the Deputy Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Shri.Appa Saheb Shinde by the Senior Vice President of Production Department Shri.K.G.Shenoy and Senior Manager Shri.Subodh More.

9. Indian Cricketer Shri.Murali kartik visit to Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Indian Cricketer Shri.Murali Kartik visited Shirdi on Monday, 16th March 2015 and had darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi.

10. Gujarat Sai Devotee offers Golden Crown weighing 1250 grams worth Thirty Lakh Eighty Two Thousand Five Hundred to Sai Baba - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

A Gujarat Sai Devotee offered Golden Crown weighing 1250 Grams worth 30,82,500/-(Thirty Lakh Eighty Two Thousand Five Hundred only) to Shri Sai Baba on Friday, 13th March 2015.

11. Ranga Panchmi Celebration in Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

On the auspicious occasion of Ranga panchmi on Wednesday, 11th March 2015, Shri Sai Baba's Chariot Procession was taken around Shirdi Village.

12. Holy Pooja at Gurusthan Temple, Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Holy pooja was performed on behalf of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) at the Gurusthan Temple on Thursday, 5th March 2015. The Deputy Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Appa Saheb Shinde performed the ritual along with his wife.

13. Governor of Gujarat Shri.O.P.Kohli visit to Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

The Governor of Gujarat, His Excellency Shri.O.P.Kohli visited Shirdi on Wednesday, 4th March 2015 and had darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. The Chief Public Relations Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Mohan Jagannath Yadav was also present on the occasion.

14. Free Spectacle Distribution Camp at Shri Sainath Hospital - A Report - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Executive Officer Shri.Rajendra Jadhav informed media persons at a press release on Tuesday, 3rd March 2015 that free spectacles were distributed to 267 needy patients at the free Spectacle distribution camp conducted at Sansthan’s run Shri Sainath Hospital due to the generous contribution from Mumbai Sai Devotee Shri.Prakash Gangwani.

Addressing the Media Persons, Shri.Jadhav said “There was a free spectacle distribution camp held on 15th February 2015 due to the generous contribution from Mumbai Sai Devotee Shri.Prakash Gangwani. In all 512 needy patients had attended this camp. After the eye examination, free spectacles were distributed to 267 needy patients. Free tea and lunch were also served at Sai Prasadalay for all the patients who attended this camp”.

This camp was successfully conducted under the able guidance of the Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde, Medical Director Dr.Prabhakar Rao, Medical Superintendent Dr.Kaushik Makwana and Eye Specialist Dr.Suni Sontakke.
