100% E.Ticketing with Air Austral

The deadline for 100% E.T fixed by IATA has been reconfirmed and we would like to help you dealing with our passengers for journeys which will not be E.T eligible after the 31 st of May 08.

1 - E.T eligible routes :

• Air routes: ZSE - RUN – CDG – MRS – LYS – TLS – DZA – YVA (HAH) – MRU – TNR – TMM – MJN – NOS – SEZ – JNB – BKK

• Non-air routes : From/to CDG on all TGV (railway) destinations under UU code (UU5xxx).

2 – Interline E-Ticketing agreements (IET)

• Completed : MK – AF – SA – BA – KL

• To be completed (or planned): HM – LG – MD - SB – QF – LX - EK – OK – TG – AZ – D6 - LH Air Austral has planned to achieve all its IET before end of 2009. Until all IET will be completed and if you need to issue a paper ticket, refer to Part 6 “Ticketing Procedures”.

3 - E.T in IATA BSP :

For tickets issued on or after 1 st of June 08 paper tickets must not be issued on BSP neutral paper ticket stock using Air Austral accounting code (UU - 760). List of UU’s affiliated BSP: , , , Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy & . (Australia & follow shortly).

4 - E.T where no BSP & excluded markets :

Madagascar, Islands, China and ARC (US Travel Agencies) are not concerned by this 100% E.T. Paper tickets issued on those markets for UU flights only will still be accepted for transportation. Please refer to your local representation for paper ticket issuance.

5 – Authorised Passenger & Fare Type Codes All PTC & FTC can be issued with E.T for Air Austral. No restriction for CHD – INF – GRP – UMNR – STCR – EXST. Please contact our local representation for further details.

6 – Ticketing Procedures : For IATA BSP

On behalf of Travel Agencies Air Austral will issue all paper tickets for non E.T eligible journeys as follows:

UU's preference is that you will use your GDS’ Virtual Mco’s solution. If you are an Amadeus system User, you will use the new functionality “Virtual MCO” (available beginning of June 08). For further details: http://fsr.emv2.com/amadeus/web/news-generique-mai08/Amadeus_%20MCO_FR_16%20Mai.pdf

Galileo & Amadeus have confirmed that the E-MPD (or paperless MPD) will also be available beginning of June 08.

The other solution proposed by IATA via Bsp Link

Follow the procedure to issue a vMPD/MD50 as follows: Complete a vMPD/MD50 for each passenger to be ticketed. Enter the following mandatory fields

NAME OF PASSENGER REASON FOR ISSUE: Select 50 -Specified MCO REASON FOR ISSUANCE CODE: Select 1 - Prepaid Ticket Advice AIRLINE CODE: enter 760 FARE – enter the fare TAXES - insert all taxes applicable to a ticket issue SERVICE CHARGE/TAX ON MPD: enter if applicable PNR – enter PNR locator FORM of PAYMENT: If form of payment is CREDIT, the credit card type, number, expiry date and amount fields have to be completed. REMARKS: enter any additional information

Then: Enter the vMPD/MD50 number in the PNR (Booking record). Enter these details as an OSI item for transmittal to Air Austral: e.g. OSI UU MPD 7601234567890 And PTA remarks as an ENDOS item.

If you use BSP Link all elements will be automatically sent to UU via mails and you need to enter manually the MCO/MPD details in the PNR.

No matter the solution you will chose, all details needed to be transmitted in the PNR and your paper ticket request to UU should be sent via a queue to XXXUU0XXX/15 message. (Office ID à valider par marché)
