wonderful, exciting journey. What is most incredible and Second Sunday of Lent awesome is that we are not alone! God is with us. He in- spires, heals, opens doors, and calls us every moment of our lives. The very life we have is due only to Him. We can all sit down and list adjectives describing who we are. One may find him or herself more artistic than another or quicker with wit. We have unique gifts and tal- ents and have the great gift of free will, which we treasure. Our histories come with more baggage for some and less hurdles for others, but we all have to find our way through the path we are on. However, have you ever given much thought to who you really are? That question has more merit than may at first appear. We know ourselves as we live out our earthly jour- Psychology has taught us a great deal about family ney. But do we know our heavenly self? Blessed Sacrament has scheduled this addional confession me for the third Tuesday of the month. Confes- sions will be heard from 6:30 to 7:30 PM on the Third Tuesday of every month. Confessions are also heard at our usual con- fession me on Saturday from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION: On March 7 & 8 at all Masses, Blessed Sacra- ment Church’s Cub Scout Pack will be col- lecting donations for our St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Please leave any donations by your car and the Scouts will collect them before Mass. The food pan- try is in need of all food items and paper products includ- ing cereal, crackers, toilet paper, jelly, and small peanut butters. They are particularly short on SpaghettiO’s and hand soap right now.Thank you.

ROSARY TUESDAY: Please join us every Tuesday after school in the church to pray the rosary with fellow classmates, families and the Blessed Sacrament com- munity. We will begin around 2:50 and finish around 3:15. All ages are welcome!! Come as often as you can!! Please contact JeniferAbdrabbo 8596406885 or Elizabeth Alcorn 8596201245 with any ques- tions. Please feel free to text or email any intentions to the phone numbers above or email Elizabeth at[email protected]. God Bless you all!!! DEATH PENALTY YES OR NO? All are invit- ed to hear speaker, Michael VonAllmen, a wrongly convicted felon who served 12 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. This program is hosted by the NKU Newman Center on Wednesday evening, March 18, 2020, at 7:00 M 8:30 p.m., in Budig Thea- ter in the University Center at NKU. Mr. VonAll- men’s story is similar to the story of Walter McMilli- an, played by Jamie Foxx in the recent movie, Just Mercy. The circumstances of many wrongful con- victions make a strong case for overturning the death penalty. Twenty two states have removed the death penalty, and this presentation will challenge us to consider what ‘just mercy’ should be in Kentucky. The Kentucky Coalition to Abolish this Death Penal- ty (KCADP), along with the Diocese of Covington Pro Life Office, Catholic Charities and Northern Kentucky Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty are cosponsoring this event. No reservation is required, it is free and open to the public. Just come. Parking is available at 20 Kenton Dr.
