It is my hope that you will enjoy the first issue of the "Jeffersonian," the official newsletter of the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club. It is my hope that t his newsletter will bring to you important information about our community, its elected officials and the events and activit ies which you might want to participate in.

For over 55 years, the "TJ" Club has been one of the most active political organizations in City. Its elected officials have always been community activists who care about all of the neighborhoods in our part of Brooklyn. We represent Canarsie, Mill Basin, Flatlands, Bergen Beach, Georgetown, Mill Basin, Marine Park and Mill Island as well as Bayview and Glenwood Houses. We welcome your participation.

Our clubhouse is located at 77 Conklin Avenue, in Canarsie between East 93rd and East 94th St reets, one block north of Flatlands Avenue. Please pay us a visit. We have included a membership application. Annual dues are $15.00 a year for each individual or $20.00 for a family. Please fill out the membership application and mail it at your earliest convenience.

We welcome your participation and count on you as a Democrat to be a part of this vital and important community group.
