First Quarter Celebration! In celebration of a great first quarter, all students’, Pre-K through 12th enjoyed Pizza Ranch pizza for lunch and Kool Kats treats this afternoon. Our community, teachers, and students have done a wonderful job of making things work in these unprecedented times. Thank you!

No School School will not be in session tomorrow November 6th due to professional development. Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

Veterans day Celebration Veterans day will look a little different from past years. NHS will celebrate our Veterans by creating a virtual program that can be viewed on social media starting next Wednesday. Classes are honor our Veterans with cards, videos, posters and more.

Giving Tuesday Changes In the past, Giving Tuesday was an event that brought the community together at Raphael Hall at Conception Abbey to put together gift packs of personal care items, fringe blankets, food, and a myriad of other gift items to go to disadvantaged families. Along with so many other things, COVID-19 has mandated that the gathering be curtailed. But Partners 4 Progress, Tri-C Community Coalition, and Conception Abbey are forging ahead with the project. One of the things they are doing is asking students and anyone who wishes, to color a Christmas picture (or two) to be sent with the gift items. The coloring pages were handed out today. Some will be colored at school, some will make their way home. We are requesting that the pictures be completed and returned by Monday, November 16.

Time Winding Down for Operation Christmas Child Jefferson FCA will continue collecting Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts until November 18th. Collection tub, boxes and labels will be in the hallway between the music and science rooms. The list of gift suggestions is attached.
