Student Research Help The physical library building may be currently closed, but online GENDER, SEXUALITY, & assistance by way of Ask A Librarian chat, Ask A Librarian email and WOMEN’S STUDIES text, and appointment using Zoom are available Monday-Thursday GEOGRAPHY from 7:30am-8:00pm and Friday from 7:30am-12:30pm. We can assist students locating online textbooks, eBooks, full-text online READING articles, using the citation software NoodleTools, and more.

SOCIOLOGY 2. Course Reserves During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Library’s Course Reserve

service has been disrupted. Students may be able to temporarily access some textbooks online through VitalSource and RedShelf. Students can contact a librarian for assistance in locating online textbooks. If we cannot locate the material, we will ask the student to contact you. We recommend that you contact your publisher representative or the campus bookstore to see if temporary online access can be obtained.

3. Finding Articles Online Workshop – Available NOW! E-Learning Librarian, Seth Daugherty, recently emailed all faculty notifying you that the ‘Finding Articles’ online workshop is now available for students. A link to the workshop is on the Library’s “Bodleian Library” Website. Please encourage your students to sign-up to this University of Oxford asynchronous option as an assignment or for extra credit. 5. Revised Library Credit Courses – Available SOON! The Library will soon offer INFO 100: Library Research Fundamentals, and INFO 103: Researching in the Digital Age. The courses are currently in the CIC course approval workflow. Both are 1 unit, and are local, CSU and UC approved. Both are available either FTF or online.
