Mike Bartrum, who played and with Phila- COACHING TIMELINE delphia from 2000-06, joined the Eagles’ coaching staff as an assistant tight ends coach during the 2019 offseason. YEARS TEAM POSITION In his first season working alongside tight ends coach Justin Peelle, 2019- Assistant Tight Ends Bartrum helped mentor one of the top tight end tandems in the NFL 2012-18 Meigs (OH) H.S. Head Coach – and Dallas Goedert. Ertz, who was selected to his third consecutive , ranked third among NFL tight ends in receptions (88), fourth in receiving yards (916) and tied for fourth in receiving touch- downs (six). Goedert also posted Top 10 finishes among tight ends in receptions (58, 9th), receiving yards (607, 10th), receiving (five, tied for seventh) and yards after the catch (331, 6th). Prior to joining the Eagles’ coaching staff, Bartrum served as the head football coach at Meigs High School in Pomeroy, OH. Bartrum originally signed with the in 1993 as an undrafted free agent out of and went on to play 13 seasons in the NFL, including the final seven as an Eagle. Predominantly a long snapper during his NFL career, Bartrum appeared in 188 career games (including playoffs) and added 11 catches for 65 yards and six touchdowns. He was a part of 10 playoff teams, appeared in five con- ference championship games and played in two Super Bowls. He also earned NFC Pro Bowl honors following the 2005 season. Bartrum signed with the Eagles as a free agent in 2000 and went on to play in four consecutive NFC Championship Games and XXXIX during his first five seasons in Philadelphia. During that stretch, Bartrum snapped for Eagles Hall of Fame K . After retiring from the NFL in 2007, Bartrum returned to his home- town of Pomeroy, where he served as a Meigs County commissioner. In addition to working as a county commissioner, Bartrum was named the head football coach at Meigs High School in 2012. A two-year starter and three-year at Marshall, Bartrum totaled 109 career receptions for 1,187 yards and 10 TDs. He earned consensus All-Southern Conference honors as a senior when he caught 62 passes for 680 yards and nine touchdowns, guiding Marshall to a Division I-AA national title. Bartrum and his wife, Jennifer, have four children: Cody, Zach, Ty, and Taylor.
