Double Shutout: Michigan Tech netminder Mark Sinclair and his Lake Superior State counterpart Mareks Mitens found themselves in a familiar spot when their teams faced off at Lake Superior State on Nov. 21. The Huskies and Lakers battled for 65 minutes with neither team finding the back of the net. The scoreless tie was the seventh in the WCHA since 2013 and the second in a row involving Mitens and Sinclair. The Lakers, backstoped by Mitens, and Alabama Huntsville, with Sinclair in net, skated to the most-recent double shutout on Feb. 14, 2020. Sinclair transferred to Michigan Tech prior to the 2020-21 season.

Climbing the Ladder: Bemidji State's Tom Serratore and Minnesota State's Mike Hastings continue to climb the games-coached ladder in the WCHA.
