They wanted 40 but were granted 20 and now are applying with plans for 30. There is time to object, Current closing date May 19th. . Its a developer greedy try on. Plans for this development will be exhibited in Willersey Village Hall on 18th May from 4:30pm to 7:00pm by the developer Blue Cedar Homes. .Currently com- ments about this on the Cotswold District Council must be in by 19th May. Very little time!

Meanwhile

Has the Bishop gone back on her word!

It is believed that the Gloucester Diocese is now determined to explore in detail whether it is worth its while to apply whilst Terrify still remains on the Local Plan (even though there is a strong chance that it will eventually be removed when the Plan is finalised), and attempt to 'jump the gun", exactly as it has done in the case of the parish of Huntley, and succeed with an application to build.

The diocese has stated that since the preparation of the Local Plan was taking longer than the diocese had envisaged, they intended to commence the proce- dure to apply for planning approval to develop Terrify and consider the detailed proposals for housing developments.

It was made very clear to the Diocesan officials that even to commence. this would be a PR disaster for the Diocese and further damage the already seriously reduced reputation of the Church and that the pcc would be holding the Bishop to the commitments made by her and by her Archdeacon on her behalf. Regretta- bly, they appear to place a high value on monetary considerations above all else.
