SEM’s 2011 ISEF Special Awards 2011 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair

The Society for Experimental Mechan- ics presented three Special Awards to finalists at the 2011 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest high school science re- search competition, held in May in Los Angeles, CA. More than 1,500 young entrepreneurs, innovators and scientists competed to reach the finals from the 443 affiliate fairs in 65 countries, regions and territories. Judges provided by SEM for the event included SEM President, Ryszard J. (Rich) Pryputniewicz, and Board members, Gary Foss, The Boeing Co., and Ralph Brillhart, ATA Engineering.
