Squash Modern Facility Landon School is located on a 75-acre campus, ringed by trees. Although Landon is a day school, the campus is reminiscent of that of a boarding school, with an academic quadrangle, faculty housing and separate buildings for the different parts of the school. The abundant athletic fields, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and track enable the high level of athletic performance seen by Landon students. In addition, the campus features a 2.5-acre garden, with 1000 different types of flowers.
Teacher Profile Robinson M. Bordley teaches history in the Upper School at Landon. Robinson received his A.B. from Princeton University, and an M.A. from both American University and Georgetown University. Robinson also coaches Landon’s Varsity Lacrosse Team, which won national championships in 1999, 2001, and 2002.
Student Awards and Honors Landon has won 45 Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) tennis championships and 26 IAC lacrosse championships. Consistently ranked among the top 20 programs in the country and several times #1, lacrosse is Landon's most well- known sport. Landon has won 127 total IAC championships in their respective varsity sports as of 2009.
