• Standing at 552 metres above sea level, the Peak is the highest mountain on Island. In the nineteenth century, the Peak served as a natural signalling post for incoming cargo ships while it was also a perfect retreat to the more privileged early residents for staying away from Hong Kong scorching summer heat.

• I would like to thank my mum and auntie Sally because they gave me a lot of ideas. Auntie Sally and mum took me to The Peak. During the interviews, I felt so scared to talk to foreign visitors but they gave me courage. Finally I successfully interviewed many tourists. They also taught me some presentation tools of MS PowerPoint. I can’t finish my project without their help! P.8

Evaluation

It is a wonderful experience to me because foreigners are kind and friendly. They love to talk to me and tell me about their experience on Hong Kong.

I also grasp this chance to have a closer look of the scenery of the Peak, an attraction that both local residents and overseas tourists should not miss. At the same time, I also dreamed of having a shop there.

P.2 - 3 • Interview report • My reflection • My dream shop at Tsim Sha Tsui • An advertisement of my dream shop Overview of Tsim Sha Tsui Tsim Sha Tsui is very popular in Hong Kong. There are many high-class hotels. They are very grand indeed. However, if you want to stay there for some days , it will be expensive. Also, there are many high-class and famous shops too. The clothes are stylish but also very costly. Many tourists will go there to have a trip in Hong Kong because there are so many high-class hotels and famous shops but I think we can’t enjoy much Hong Kong cultural things there. (By Louise) P.1
