CESA Conference The Bay Area UASI Management Team recently attended the California Emergency Services Association (CESA) annual training conference in San Diego, California. UASI Assistant General Manager Catherine Spaulding, San Jose Office of Emergency Services Director Ryan Broughton and Oakland’s Director of Emergency Services Cathey Eide presented a seminar on Risked Based Planning and Performance Metrics. The objective of the seminar was to share lessons on risk-based planning and performance metrics; demonstrate the importance of a risk and data- based approach; and to provide tools for stakeholders to use Fleet Week 2016 in their own jurisdictions.
