STEEL RELEASE 2021-2022 SEASON TICKET DETAILS Plans include new, discounted pricing for full season tickets and mini-plans

GENEVA, ILLINOIS — The Chicago Steel today unveiled the team’s 2021-2022 season ticket plans, on sale now, with just a $25 deposit to secure seats to see the winningest team in the United States Hockey League since 2019.

New, discounted pricing and a revamped seating chart highlights the offerings with mini-plans starting at just 5 games and a full-season package of 32 games.

With the teams “Playoff Push for Season Ticket Holders,” fans who sign up for any 2021-2022 season ticket plan before April 26 will receive two playoff t-shirts, one commemorating the 2019- 2020 Anderson Cup Champions and one for the 2020-2021 Steel. Plans require just a $25 deposit to secure a plan of any size,

Changes to the pricing map at Fox Valley Ice Arena for the 2021-2022 season will result in lower prices for season ticket plans. The Blue Zone is stadium seating closest to ice level.

Bleacher seating on the South Side of Fox Valley Ice Arena above Blue Zone are now the White Zone, the mid-level pricing option. Blue and White Zone sections offer the largest discounts for full season tickets and mini plans.

The sections behind both the Steel and visiting team benches on the North Side of the arena have now been designated as the Red Zone, the most affordable pricing level.

“We’re very excited to be launching this playoff push for season ticket holders,” said Steel President Dan Lehv. “It’s been nearly a year since we welcomed our season ticket holders through our doors, and this initiative reflects our optimism that our fans will be back this Fall.

“Our new pricing model and seating chart was designed to reward our season ticket holders for their loyalty and we look forward to hopefully welcoming many new members of our season ticket family as a result.”

The Steel also introduced season ticket benefits for full and mini-plan holders which include special events, guaranteed giveaway items, discounts on Steel merchandise, a rain check program for full season ticket holders and more.

Entering the month of March, the Steel currently have the best record in the USHL one season after capturing the first Anderson Cup in team history, awarded to the regular season champion. The prior season, the Steel won the Eastern Conference and advanced to the 2019 Clark Cup Final.

Seat locations will be subject to State of Illinois and local guidance related to capacity for indoor spectator events. The Steel have been actively working with State authorities and the Kane County Health Department and will continue to do so in prioritizing the health and safety of all spectators. The 2021-2022 season is scheduled to begin this Fall with details still to be announced by the USHL.

The Steel wrap up a stretch of eight consecutive road games this week with three contests in Michigan, starting with a back-to-back set against the on Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6 with both games starting at 6:00 pm CT at Mercy Health Arena. On Sunday, the Steel conclude the weekend with a 3:00 pm CT matchup against Team USA (U18) at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich.
