Nothing displayed on the Chromebit , what should I do to improve?

1. First make sure you connected the AC adapter of display correctly (the power connection should 'snap in' securely and cannot be unplugged with one hand when connected properly) and you are getting power to all your devices. Confirm whether the other connections are good too.

2. If you connect Chromebit to a TV, choose "TV inputs" in Input Select from OSD menu on display. In addition, you can confirm that you are able to get HDMI input on display device working with a different system.

3. We also suggest you try to test Chromebit with other displays that support 1920x1080 resolution if possible.

If the display with 1920x1080 resolution works while other displays with lower resolutions do not, please try to update the Chrome OS version before your next test.

Is there any way to prevent the Chromebit from Going to Sleep? Under some situation such as educational setting , it may be desirable to keep the display ON after a period of no using, so is it possible to prevent the Chromebit from going to sleep after 8 minutes?

As of March 2016, this appears to be a limitation with the Chrome OS which can occur on other Chrome OS products too.

If necessary, we can suggest some third party apps to customers such as 'Keep Awake' , the app they may want to look into more on their own .

 Although it may be obvious/simple for most people, please make sure the power cord is completely plugged with a 'snap' sound which will require a little extra effort ,and it would turn out to be what shows in below screenshot. There is no space between the power cord housing and the Chromebit.

 Below picture shows the power cord only partially plugged in which may cause intermittent power supply for the unit and the power can be easily disconnected. Therefore, it's not the correct way to plug in the cord. You can still see some of the silver-colored plug leaving outside when the cord is incorrectly plugged in.

 Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into a working outlet and there is power to the outlet. Sometimes power strips may be accidentally turned off if you want to check this. Try a different power outlet and make sure whether other devices are working with that outlet if possible.

 Since there are no power indicators on the Chromebit, such case as the Chromebit is indeed working with power on but not displaying on your TV or monitor is possible.  If you have a TV with multiple video inputs, make sure the correct video input has been selected or you can try to compare with another display. Also, make sure the display is working normally with other systems and no problems occurred on the display end.  Is it possible to set up a proxy server for the Chromebit?  Yes, please follow the steps below.  1.
