I refer to Question without Notice 458 asked on the 19th of May 2020 on the Gove ment s creation of an A Class conservation reserve to save Beeliar wetlands , I ask:

1. What new boundaries have been created for the A class conservation reserve? 2. Please provide a map of the newly A class conservation reserve? 3. Does the new reserve cover entirely the previously proposed road reserve for the Roe 8 highway extension? 4. If no to 4, which sections are not covered? and 5. What area of the new A class conservation reserve is outside the previously proposed road reserve for the Roe 8 highway extension?

Answer

1. The new Class A Reserve comprises approximately 610 hectares as shown on the Tabled Plan. 2. I table the attached map. 3. No. 4. The portion west of Progress Drive to Stock Road. 5. An area of approximately 590 hectares of the Class A Reserve is outside of the previously proposed MRS Regional Road Reserve.
