QU postpones 43rd Graduation Ceremony Amir receives credentials of new ambassadors until Spring 2021

Qatar University (QU) has announced the postponement of the 43rd graduation ceremony (Class of 2020) until the end of Spring 2021, due to the current application of the precaution measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In a statement yesterday, QU president Dr Hassan al- Derham confirmed that the safety of students and employees is among the top priorities, and the postponement of the ceremony comes in line with the general measures taken by Qatar to prevent the spread of the pandemic and in order to preserve the health and safety of the community. The Class of 2020 will include 3,075 graduates from fall 2019, winter 2019, spring 2019 and summer 2020, the statement added.
