Day 1 - Saturday Its founder, the Roman Emperor Diocletian, had a huge palace built, from which the city gradually developed. It is one of the largest and Split most fascinating Roman ruins in the world. Ship docked in port.

Day 2 - Sunday This peninsular city, known for its Roman and Venetian ruins, holds two thousand years of history within its walls: a Roman forum, baroque Zadar treasures, Romanesque churches as well as its ancient fortifications. Ship at anchor. Water sports.

Day 3 - Monday Located on a craggy peninsula with a baroque bell-tower that soars above the ochre rooftops of its ancient buildings, the narrow cobbled Piran streets and little port, this is one of the prettiest towns on the Slovenian coast. Ship at anchor, water sports available.

Day 4 - Tuesday The City of Water is a fascinating blend of architectural styles, its soul intimately woven into its labyrinth of narrow streets and canals, its Venice palaces and bell towers, squares and churches. Ship docked.

Day 5 - Wednesday On the water, in the narrow streets or behind the gorgeous facades of its palaces, La Serenissima is a living museum city packed with Venice unique works of art. Ship docked, no water sports.

Day 6 - Thursday Located at the back of the , the stunning houses that line the 11 kilometres of the Lungomare promenade give this seaside Opatija resort, which was very fashionable in the 19th century, a look of the Côte d'Azur. Ship at anchor, water sports available.

You must wear trainers or other comfortable footwear A natural wonder in the heart of , the famous Plitvice Day 2 - Sunday Lakes National Park is half way between Zadar and Zagreb. The park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Stretching over Zadar - the Plitvice Lakes 17 kms (10 miles), this string of 16 fabulously crystal clear blue-green lakes flow into each other amid a staggering concert of 92 National Park (day) * waterfalls. The visit is done in two phases, each one a leisurely hour long allowing you to admire the beauty of this natural wonder. 20- minute boat transfer between the two visits. Late lunch.

A beautiful excursion in the heart of nature! A bus will take you to National Park, one of the natural wonders of Croatia, with exceptional flora and fauna - 860 species of plants and 222 different bird species make it one of the most fascinating ornithological parks Day 2 - Sunday in Europe. The park has 7 spectacular waterfalls that the River Krka has hollowed out of the karstic plateau. The Skradinski Buk, the largest Zadar - The Krka Waterfalls travertine waterfall in Europe, has an average rate of flow of 55 cubic metres/second. During the guided tour, you'll have a view over the (1/2 day, morning) * falls from Stradinski Buk, before going on to visit a traditional watermill and museum of ethnology. You'll have free time for shopping or refreshments or to follow a narrow path that takes you closer to the falls. You'll be able to swim in the lower part of the falls, so don't forget to take a swimsuit and towel. The bus will take you back to the boat.

This tour will take you to the hill where Castle stands so you can enjoy the uninterrupted view of . The tour continues with a Day 6 - Thursday guided walk through the narrow little streets of Rijeka where you will see many historic monuments such as the leaning tower and the Opatija / Opatija and Rijeka (1/2 day - morning) * national theatre. You will also visit St Vitus Cathedral and enjoy free time to explore the city's eclectic mix of shops and local galleries before returning to Opatija where your guide will show you round this seaside resort which is very popular with the Croatians.

Day 7 - Friday Pula / Rovinj & Porec (1/2 day, morning)

This guided tour will introduce you to the extraordinary city of Pula, both full of life and modernity, and brimming with remains. Between its Day 7 - Friday delightful pedestrian streets and its Roman monuments including sumptuous arenas, its 1st century doors and its churches, Pula will Pula / Pula city tour ( 1/2 day) * certainly surprise you. Its worldly glory came at the beginning of the 20th century, when the entire Austro-Hungarian aristocracy became infatuated with this resort and its mild climate.
