The Township of Selwyn expects to receive a five year, $1.488 million grant through the Province of ’s Community Transportation Grant Pro- gram. In partnership with , Community Care Peterborough and Peterbor- ough Social Services, the Township will be devel- oping plans to provide regular transportation ser- vice between Bridgenorth, Curve Lake, Ennismore and Lakefield. Detailed route planning and fares remain to be finalized, and a bus carrier will be selected through a competitive process. Routes will also be planned to coordinate with the City of Peterbor- ough transit system which will provide users with improved access to locations throughout the City and inter-regional connectivity, whether through Council members at Cenotaph Park in Lakefield.
