EGVL AD 2.21 - NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

 a. Noise-sensitive areas are located within the vicinity of aerodrome; all powered Air Systems are to avoid low overflight of the surrounding fields and villages of Little Rissington, Great Rissington, Church Westcote, Nether Westcote, Idbury and Fifield. b. Engine Ground Runs are not permitted without authority of the Aerodrome Operator.

EGVL AD 2.23 - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION a. Ground beyond aerodrome boundaries to the NE falls away steeply, giving rise to curl-over and steep wind gradient effects on approaches to runways. b. Operations on Rwy 31 require a backtrack to thld (no taxiway access). Taxiway between Rwy 27 thld and Rwy 31 thld is not to be used due to degradation.
