On October 23, 1909, St. Ignatius College was rechartered by the State of Illinois as Loyola University, and in 1922 the University moved operations from West Twelfth Street to Sheridan and Devon in the Rogers Park neighborhood. College classes had been offered at the Rogers Park campus since 1912, and Loyola Academy opened on the property in 1909. Loyola University Chicago is comprised of four campuses, three located in Chicago and the Chicagoland area and one in Rome. The Chicago campuses consist of the Lake Shore Campus, home of the College of Arts and Sciences; the Water Tower Campus, home of the School of Social Work, School of Law, School of Education, Quinlan School of Business, and an extension the College of Arts and Sciences; and the Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL, home of the Niehoff School of Nursing and the Stritch School of Medicine. Loyola University Chicago's Rome campus, the John Felice Rome Center, is open to students from other universities in addition to Loyola students.     KEY ADMINISTRATORS DAN GUERRERO KEY ATHLETIC Athletic Director • UCLA ’74 • 9th Year DEPARTMENT STAFF In his eight years as UCLA’s Director of Athletics, Daniel G. Guerrero has boldly placed his imprint on the school’s athletic program. Guerrero is one of the most respected and talented administrators in all of intercol- legiate athletics. He is the current president of the Division I Athletic Directors Associa- tion. In addition, he is the fi rst vice-president of the National Assn. of Collegiate Direc- tors of Athletics (NACDA) and a member of the NACDA Executive Committee. This past June, Guerrero completed a fi ve-year term on the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee. As the chair in 2009-10, he was involved with the negotiation of the new $10.8 million, 14-year NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament television package Don Morrison Michael Sondheimer as well as the decision to expand the Tournament to 68 teams. Faculty Athletic Rep. Associate A.D. In Guerrero’s eight years as AD, he has clearly established a pattern of “image and substance” that few in his profession can match. UCLA stands as the No. 1 University in the nation for NCAA team championships (106) won, a number that continues to grow under his direction. In those eight years, UCLA teams have won 20 NCAA team titles (the highest total in the nation in that span) in 11 different sports, fi nished second 16 times and have had an additional 28 Top Five fi nishes (64 total). A staggering 152 teams (of 184 possible) have qualifi ed for NCAA post-season competition and the football team has appeared in seven bowl games.

The Master of Laws (LLM) in Rule of Law for Development (PROLAW LLM) is a program for current lawyers. The Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) in Rule of Law for Development (PROLAW MJ) is a program for professionals who do not have law degrees and currently work, or aspire to work, as advisors promoting the rule of law. PROLAW provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills required to become the most qualified rule of law innovators and leaders. PROGRAM DETAILS The PROLAW LLM is a degree program that requires 27 academic credit hours comprising nine courses and a major rule of law capstone project. Students complete all onsite courses at Loyola’s John Felice Rome Center in Rome, Italy, from September to February. Students then complete two online courses from March to April and their capstone requirement by July 15 each year, from their home countries, through online communication with a capstone project advisor.
