EAST RIDING COUNCIL MATTERS (a) A1174 Woodmansey/Kingswood Pedestrian/Cycle Route – Bus Shelters (oral update) (b) Plaxton Bridge Update (oral update) (c) Planning Liaison Meeting - 24th March 2011 at County Hall, (6pm-8pm) – The Parish Council is invited to send up to 2 representatives (copy of Agenda enclosed).

PLANNING APPLICATIONS: (a) Applications Received: To consider any applications for planning permission upon which the Parish Council has been consulted: (i) Forest View, 25 Chester Avenue, Beverley - Erection of 2 storey extension to rear (ref 11/00203) (ii) Land North and South of Lakeminster Park, Hull Road, Woodmansey - Extension to existing park home holiday site at Lakeminster Park to provide for 100 no. park homes, pitches for 81 no. static caravans and pitches for 32 no. touring caravans with associated recreational facilities, landscaping and access roads (Amended Address) (ref 10/05070) (iii) Ivanhoe, 66 Hull Road, Woodmansey - Conversion of existing dwelling into 10 apartments (ref 10/05065) (iv) Sir Henry Cooper School, Danespark Access Road to Sir Leo Schultz Centre, Dunswell - Change of use of land following demolition of existing school (sports hall to be retained) to form public open space with associated hard and soft landscaping, including new footpaths, with flower meadows, trees and shrub planting and sculptural earth mounding (ref 10/05180). (v) 10 Norwich Court, Beverley - Erection of 2 storey extension to side (ref 11/00263) (vi) 37 Inglefield Close, Beverley - Erection of 2 storey extension to side (ref 11/00327) (vii) Dene Park Sports Club Dunswell - Alteration and extension to existing club facilities and changing rooms, associated car parking plus remodelling of existing sports pitches with the erection of 14 x 15 metre high column flood lights (8 to the 7 a side pitches and 6 to the 1st team pitch) together with the erection of a 2.4 metre high palisade fence around the 1st team pitch, a revised vehicular access and new access road and associated car parking and relocation of temporary buildings to 1st team pitch. (b) Comments submitted to the Planning Authority, following consultation with Members, since the last meeting: (i) Dunswell Service Station, Beverley Road, Dunswell - Change of use of part of site for the hire and sale of motorhomes and erection of palisade fencing (ref 10/04928) – No observations provided there are no neighbour objections.

(c) Decisions of the Planning Authority: To report the decisions of the Council/Planning Inspectorate on the applications set out below: (i) The Warton Arms, Hull Road, Woodmansey – Proposed external play area and installation of play equipment (ref 10/05084) - Approved. (ii) Halfway House, Long Lane, Woodmansey – Change of use of outbuildings to boarding cattery and erection of outdoor run (ref 10/04563) - Approved. (iii) 3 The Haven, Walkington – Erection of a detached garage to the front with play room above, two storey extension to the rear and raised roof following loft conversion including 2 no. dormers to front (ref 10/05011) - Refused. (iv) Thearne Grange, Ferry Lane, Woodmansey – Change of use of land from agricultural to caravan storage, to extend existing storage at rear (ref 10/04963) - Approved. (v) Other decisions (if any).
