NOTIFICATION
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has notified the rules, namely, "The Construction and Demolition Waste Management Rules, 2016" G.S.R. 317(E), dated 29-03-2016 and published in the Gazette of India, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section(ii).
2. Rule 6 (1) of the said rules lays down that the Local Authority shall issue detailed directions with regard to proper management of construction and demolition waste within its jurisdiction in accordance with the provisions of the said rules. Further, rule 6 (5) states that the Local Authority shall get the collected waste transported to appropriate sites for processing and disposal.
3. The following site is, therefore, earmarked for setting up of the storage, processing and recycling facilities for construction and demolition waste and silt:

The construction and demolition waste only shall be deposited on the site at para 3 above.
