MICHAEL FELDMAN'S WHAD'YA KNOW? PROGRAM COMING TO KENOSHA, APRIL 16

WGTD 91.1 FM and Kenosha Community Media welcome former Kenosha high school teacher and current radio host, Michael Feldman, to Kenosha, WI on Saturday, April 16 for a live performance of his popular program, Whad'Ya Know?, at Reuther Auditorium, 58th Street and Sheridan Road, from 10:00 a.m.-Noon.

The show combines comedy, music, interviews, and the audience-favorite, the Whad'Ya Know? Quiz. Feldman invites callers and audience members to test their knowledge against his seemingly limitless store of insignificant (but also, somehow, important) information. The Whad'Ya Know? Trio, featuring pianist John Thulin, offer music lovers a morning blend of be-bop, blues, and swinging jazz.

General admission is $20/adults; $15/senior citizens (55+) and students. VIP tickets are $50 and include premium seats and an invitation to a post-show reception at Mangia Trattoria, 5717 Sheridan Road, with Michael Feldman and his cast and crew.

Tickets are on sale now at the Whad'Ya Know? Website, www.notmuch.com, or by calling (608) 265-ARTS (2787). Tickets are also on sale at Cafe 91.1, a full-service coffee house at Gateway Technical College, 3520 30th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Cafe 91.1 is located in the Center for Bioscience and Information Technology building on the north end of the Gateway campus.

This performance is expected to be sold-out, so the public is advised to obtain tickets before the show date. Because the performance is broadcast live, everyone should be seated by 9:30 a.m., in anticipation of the 10:00 a.m. start time.

Michael Feldman taught English at Tremper High and Reuther High School of Kenosha in the 1970s before pursuing a career in radio. Former students and faculty are encouraged to dress in school colors when attending the April 16 performance. “We fully expect to hear some tales from those days—not tall ones, of course!” said WGTD General Manager David Cole.

Produced by Public Radio and distributed by Public Radio International (PRI), Whad'Ya Know? airs live on Ideas Network, WHAD 90.7 FM. A recorded version airs Sundays at 8:00 p.m. on WGTD 91.1 FM, Kenosha/Racine; 101.7 FM Elkhorn; and 103.3 FM in Lake Geneva, WI. It can also be found on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio and via podcast at www.notmuch.com.

Major sponsors include Kenosha-based Jockey, and Jockey International, based in Kenosha for nearly 120 years, and committed to satisfying the human need for comfort, and Gateway Technical College, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary — the first of its kind in the nation.
