Alpha Tau Omega The men of have always held women in the highest regard. In an effort to maintain this, we are actively educating our men on how to behave in any given social setting. Sexual harassment is a very real issue that people, unfortunately, battle with every day. General respect should be considered a basic human right, and anything less is unacceptable. We believe that through the actions of the men of Alpha Tau Omega, there is hope that our campus will become a safer place for everyone.

Delta Tau Delta The men of in no way, shape, or form condone or tolerate any form of sexual assault or violence against any person. Delta Tau Delta actively hosts sexual assault presentations for our members. Our Membership Responsibility Guidelines are established to protect the fraternity, its members, and guests. Sexual assault is a major violation within our organization and this criminal act is not tolerated. Should we discover that a member of our order commits sexual assault we will deal with them in manners including but not limited to expulsion from Delta Tau Delta and reporting them to the University administration and nationals.

Lambda Chi Alpha One of the most enduring goals of is to make men better men. For this reason, we have no tolerance for the criminal act of sexual assault, which seeks to not only degrade an individual’s body, but also their personality and ultimately who they are as a person. To protect the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha along with all the brothers and sisters of Ball State’s Greek life, and the student body as a whole, Lambda Chi Alpha has dedicated time and effort to not only educate our bothers through presentations, but also through programs open to all of Ball State’s campus such as our annual sexual assault awareness seminar. It is our mission to stand together with all the students of in fighting sexual assault.

Phi Delta Theta With moral rectitude being at the center of our cardinal principles, will have a zero tolerance policy against any form of sexual assault or harassment. With sexual assault and harassment continuing to be a wide spread problem at other colleges and universities, Phi Delta Theta will continue to strive to eliminate this problem. With the help of the Ball State Community, the Indiana Kappa chapter of Phi Delta Theta is continuing to fight this problem through various speakers and programs hosted by the university. If it is discovered that a member of our chapter has committed any act of sexual assault or harassment they will be dismissed from our organization immediately and be asked to disaffiliate. Through our new member education and with the help of the Ball State Community, we hope to continue to remove all forms of sexual assault off of our campus.

Phi Gamma Delta The men of , Beta Sigma Chapter, believe no woman should ever be taken advantage of. This is not a game, unfortunately many men out there find it as one. Within our values we stress to be the best men we can be. Which means it is our duty to stop and prevent sexual assault from happening. If any member is found guilty of committing such an act, their membership will be terminated immediately. With our effort and the effort of everybody else we can stop this sick act from happening here at Ball State University. Join us in the fight to stop sexual assault.

Phi Kappa Psi The gentlemen of hold ourselves to a superior standard of gentlemanly conduct. We have pledged ourselves to be honorable, courteous, and cultured while striving manfully for intellectual, moral, and spiritual excellence. Sexual harassment and assault are vile acts beneath the integrity and character of a gentleman and they are not keeping with our stated fraternal values. As such, acts which seek to compromise the integrity of another human being, which cause another person to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or which are even in the same character as such acts shall not be tolerated under any circumstances by the Indiana Iota Chapter of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity nor by its associates.

Pi Kappa Phi The men of have zero tolerance for sexual assault and will take action against this violence. Pi Kappa Phi is the epitome of leadership, and as such, we strive to lead the Greek community against sexual violence. This all begins with a pledge; a pledge that will, in turn, influence the brothers and sisters of Ball State and create a stronger, safer community. As brothers of Pi Kappa Phi, we pledge to execute prevention policies, training initiatives, and to educate our men in order to maintain the highest standard and discipline. Most importantly, we pledge to put our community before ourselves by always taking action against this violence when the problem presents itself in order to protect our community. Pi Kappa Phi refuses to allow sexual assault to be hidden in the dark. The brotherhood is bringing this problem to the light by forever pledging to reach out and partner with the rest of Greek Life to raise awareness and end any and all forms of sexual assault and violence.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon The men of the Indiana Zeta chapter of do not tolerate sexist or any sort of unwanted sexual behavior whether physical or emotional. As members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, we hold ourselves to the founding values of our fraternity as well as our creed The True Gentleman. The opening of our creed is as follows: “The True Gentleman is the man whose conduct proceeds from good will and an acute sense of propriety…” If any member is guilty of any sort of sexual assault, he is going against his oath to hold himself to the highest standards and immediate expulsion from the fraternity will be necessary. As a chapter, we are proud to call ourselves True Gentlemen and we continue to do so by educating our members in the ideals of our creed which we believe is at the utmost importance not only for success throughout life, but also so we may stress the importance of respecting and protecting the rights of women. We strive to lead the Greek community at Ball State University in holding the highest standards on and off campus in the efforts to make sexual assault a thing of the past.

Sigma Chi ’s mission is to develop values-based leaders who are determined to commit to the betterment of character, campus, and community. The Epsilon Omega Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity has persisted in this mission, striving to teach our members to not only honor the values as stated in the Jordan Standard but to put character into action as leaders in all endeavors. In regards to respecting women, there are four values stated within our Jordan Standard that that relay this message. That being, “..Admitting no man to membership in Sigma Chi who is not believed to be: A man of good character, possessed of good morals, having a high sense of honor and a deep sense of personal responsibility.” And as Sigma Chi’s we challenge our members to live by our core values and exemplify Character-in-Action in every aspect of our lives, and the lives of others.

Sigma Nu was founded not only against but against all actions which harm or degrade any man or woman’s inherent self-worth. As such, the gentlemen of Sigma Nu will neither tolerate nor condone sexual assault in any form towards any one. We hold ourselves true to our principles of love, truth, and honor and vow to stand as a bulwark against this alarming trend.

Sigma Phi Epsilon Epsilon will not condone or tolerate any sexual assault or violence. We understand we are in total control to prevent such acts, and will take the proactive steps necessary to foster an environment in which our guests can feel safe. We will collaborate with our local and national stakeholders to ensure our oath is honored. Our university and alumni have provided the resources and insights necessary to properly educate and empower our undergraduates to prevent any act of sexual assault. Those who share our company will enjoy an environment they genuinely feel safe in. Should a member of our organization be convicted of committing such an act, however, he will be removed immediately. We will honor the governance of our university, national fraternity, and alumni Volunteer Corporation. We will embody the oath of obligation we recited during our initiation to demonstrate respect, care, and concern for our company and members.

Theta Chi Sexual assault is an issue on the mind of nearly every college student as it continues to be present on campuses nationwide. The gentlemen of Fraternity, Delta Kappa Chapter at Ball State University will continue to never condone, nor tolerate, any such behavior to be displayed by our members. Behaviors such as physical, mental, and/or emotional assault; unnecessary aggressive behavior; sexist behavior; and any inappropriate and/or uncomfortable actions do not meet the standards set by Theta Chi Fraternity’s founders Arthur Chase and Frederick Norton Greeman. Any member who disregards the standards of our Fraternity by performing or being involved with any such actions shall be removed from membership immediately. Our chapter will continue to follow these beliefs, support sexual assault prevention, and work towards a culture that does not tolerate any actions degrading or harming any person of the opposite, or same, sex. As members of the Greek community at Ball State University, the gentlemen of Theta Chi Fraternity challenge students and faculty to continue the effort to put an end to sexual assault campus wide.
