Bryn Dinas Nant Gwynant

Dafydd Hardy Coast & Country

Bryn Dinas

Welcome to wild and wonderful and witness the National Park from what must be one of its best

internal routes - the road leading from the village of rises gently from the wooded hillsides of Nant Gwynant past two beautiful lakes (Dinas and Gwynant) before climbing steeply along the eastern flanks of the Massif and onward to the higher and wilder peaks. If you’ve ever ventured into these parts of Snowdonia, you’ll know just how exciting it is that with every twist and turn of the road, new vistas and delights come into view spurring you on to further adventures.

Tucked away along the roadside between the aforementioned lakes lies Bryn Dinas, a leisure based business like no other within the immediate vicinity, being situated just a short stroll from the start of the Watkin Path (a fine route to Snowdon’s summit) and the banks of the Glaslyn River, a glorious setting with spectacular scenery all- encompassing whilst just a short drive (or a slightly longer walk) from the picturesque village of Beddgelert and the Aberglaslyn Gorge where you can enjoy traditional pub food and relax, immersing yourself in the moment.

We envisage this to be a real life changing opportunity for those wishing to escape busy town/city living with its associated stresses to be able to run a business that can serve all year round season with a healthy income.

Bryn Dinas, which stands in some 2½ Acres of grounds and mature woodland has been extensively developed in recent years to cater for the burgeoning tourists industry in a particularly imaginative way.

Whilst offering traditional holiday accommodation, the

real treat lies in that there are eight Camping Pods, a

superb Log Cabin, two Bunk Rooms and Community

Room (all insulated and heated) which adds an exciting twist to living outdoors within such a splendid location. Bryn Dinas as a whole, originated from the main

Farmhouse Residence (which serves as three separate holiday lets, sleeping up to 18), plus a further two storey Detached Residence (sleeping up to 7) and each pod able to sleep 2 persons apiece, the 2 bunk rooms 4 each

and the log cabin catering for 4.

To support the venture are an extensive range of utility outbuildings and facilities that make staying here a joy. These include a general communal/recreational space, shower facilities and laundry – it’s all so well set up that visitors can immediately feel at home.

The two main dwellings offer much character but have been sympathetically and tastefully modernised throughout. There are three wood burning stoves also for that authentic touch.

Both benefit from uPVC double glazing and heating is via electric heaters, however the smaller of the two dwellings has modern air source central heating, distributed via under-floor means to the ground floor. A bulk LPG tank is also located on site which is utilised for certain utility duties and cooking facilities.

Bryn Dinas offers a hugely exciting opportunity to continue in its capacity as a one-stop destination for exploring

Snowdonia, outlying districts and the fabulous coastline, with accommodation to suit all pockets and age groups. We’re certain stays here will live long in the memory. But don’t take our word for it - there are some glowing reviews on Tripadvisor, Airbnb and Booking.com with many visitors happy to return again and again. Could this be your opportunity to continue and develop this superb venture?

Nant Gwynant is undoubtedly a beautiful location

which really fires the imagination, the nearby lakes of Gwynant and Dinas proving irresistible for artists and photographers alike.

The closest village of Beddgelert is always bustling with visitors, many of whom take a break from

travelling on the between

Caernarfon and .

North offers countless tourist attractions and facilities: two hugely entertaining zip wire rides, an underground trampoline park, a surf park, numerous sporting events (cycling, running etc.), mountain bike courses, excellent climbing facilities not to mention the castles and historic monuments. Snowdonia attracts millions of visitors a year to enjoy its wide open spaces, stunning scenery and fresh air.
