Valuable suggestions would be incorporated in Budget By : Editor Published On : 13 Feb, 2021 05:00 PM IST INVC NEWS Chandigarh, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that like last year, this year too the State Budget 2021-22 would be prepared and presented after holding discussions and seeking suggestions from MPs of the State. Their valuable suggestions and their expectations regarding the development of their areas would be incorporated in the State Budget, said the Chief Minister. The Chief Minsiter held a pre-Budget meeting with the MPs and Rajya Sabha MPs at the residence of MP, Ambala Lok Sabha Constituency and Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Rattan Lal Kataria in New Delhi on late evening on Friday. After holding pre-Budget meeting with the MPs of Haryana, the Chief Minister, while addressing media persons, said that during the pre-Budget meeting, various discussions were held with the MPs regarding their requirements and expectations for the development of their respective Constituencies. The valuable suggestions given by the MPs would deﬁnitely be incorporated in the upcoming State Budget. Besides this, discussions were also held with MPs regarding increasing Haryana's participation in the Union Budget, informed the Chief Minister. While responding to queries regarding the ongoing farmers' agitation, Mr. Manohar Lal said that the Central Government is clearly of the view that the three Agricultural laws are for the beneﬁt of the farmers and will certainly boost the economic prosperity of the agricultural sector. Some people are protesting just for the sake of protest and it also shows their vested political intent. However, if through positive dialogue, any amendment in these laws is required, then the Central Government is and will always be ready for making the required amendments. I am hopeful that soon the issue would be resolved, said the Chief Minister. Jindal, Power Minister and Shri Surender Singh, Agriculture Minister died in the chopper crash at Gurgaon, near Saharanpur (U.P.). The Bye-election on 3 vacant seats i.e. hisar, Tosham and Kiloi (Shri Krishan Hooda resigned on 05.04.2005) was held on 2nd June, 2005 in which Smt. Savitri Jindal (wife of Shri O.P. Jindal), Smt. Kiran Choudhari (wife of Shri Surender Singh) and Ch. Bhupinder Singh Hooda were elected from Hisar, Tosham and Kiloi constituencies, respectively, Sardar Harmonhinder Singh Chatha was elected Speaker of the Assembly unanimously on 21st March, 2005 and resigned from the office of Speaker on 12th January, 2006. On 13th January, 2006, Dr. raghuvir Singh Kadian was elected as Speaker of the Assembly, unanimously. These bio-sketches have been prepared on the basis of information furnished by the Members themselves and every effort has been made to ensure the factual accuracy.
