Hi Stephen and Colin,

Stephen please see the enclosed. The budget cost for the park would be £9500 + Vat.

As for the signage, Colin and I have discussed and confirmed the locations, and an order has been placed with the contractor for the installation of the new posts. The signage is currently being manufactured.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Hi Stephen and Colin,

Car Park Signage: Signage has been ordered and should be to us by mid November. Hope that’s ok.

I’ve had a look at the sites and think, barr one (Millilse posts to the ship car park), new posts will be required for the signage. With this in mind, I just wanted to confirm the locations for the posts (See attached). Proposals and queried locations of the signage are (As per attached): - Millisle Car Park (to the ship car park), as per attached photo, located on the 100mm existing posts at the entrance; - Ballywalter Rd Millisle car park, was thinking these could be located at both entrances (See attached). There are height restrictors at both entrances but these don’t tend to be used regularly. What’s your thought’s? - Springvale Ballywalter car park, was thinking to the entrance to the car park? - Ballywalter car park (behind the shops). Is signage required here? If so, was thinking of the two recesses where bigger vehicles would park! - Railway St car park, as per drawing, located to the right of the entrance to the car park.

Let me know what you think, nicely!

Kingsland Dog Park: I’ve talked to r, who installed the Londonderry Park Dog Park, and with signage and benches, etc; I think we would need a budget cost of £9500 + Vat for the Kingsland park. I did carry out a costing exercise, via the schedule of rates, and there was very little in it.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Colin, Millisle There is a pole near the WCs village end of main car park and another at beach access well down the car park Ballywalter Plenty of lighting columns if we are permitted to use one at either end of the car park, otherwise we would need to install poles at both ends. Donaghadee Millisle Road end- there is a pole with temporary notice on it where access road turns into car park proper or failing that the pavilion wall maybe? Lifeboat end- there is no suitable pole unless we use the existing fence - suggest pole required near this point.

Hope this helps

That’s great, thanks Colin.

I’ll get those ordered straight away.

Take it they’ll be attached to posts. If So, are these in place? If not, could you provide the locality on site?

Thanks,

, Good to get a race out this morning for a chat.

We have agreed the following “soft signage” wording. Can we have 2 signs at D’Dee Commons, 2 at Millisle and 2 at Ballywalter car parks.

For the safety and convenience of all car park users car parks are provided for parking only and overnight sleeping is not permitted
