8th International Para-Rowing Regatta 3rd INAS Indoor World Championship 1st INAS International Regatta

Organising Committee The International Regatta will be organized by the Gavirate Rowing Club and the Italian Rowing Federation.
Venue The International Para-rowing Regatta is held at the Gavirate Rowing Centre on the lake of Varese.
Classification Classifications will be held at the Gavirate Rowing Centre on Thursday 15th of May.
Athletes in order to be classified have the possibility to race at the International Regatta on Friday 16th Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2014

The teams whose athletes need to be classified have to send the FISA Medical Diagnostics Form http://www.worldrowing.com/rowing/para-rowing and the required supporting documentation in English 30 days before the start of the event – April 16th, and must be sent by email to Judy Morrison, FISA Head of Classification at [email protected] by that date for approval. Failure to provide the required medical documentation by the deadline may result in the athlete not being classified and therefore not being able to compete at this event. Please refer also at “Closing date for classification” on page 6.
INAS events: ID Athletes can race at the 3rd INAS Indoor World Championships and at the 1st INAS International regatta upon their inclusion in the INAS Master List (as active) no later than the final entry deadline 6th May 2014 For entries, please fulfill the form “C”.
Boat classes:
Paralympic events: 4+ LTA mix, 2x TA mix, 1xAS M, 1xAS F, Non Paralympic events: 1x TA M, 2x LTA mix, 4+ LTA ID mix
Fixed start, on 6 lanes.
General program:
INAS Indoor races: Thursday- May 15th
- 1000m individual M/F in the morning 500m individual M/F in the afternoon
International Regatta (Para-rowing, INAS):
- Heats/race for lanes on Friday afternoon (5:00 p.m.)
- Finals A-B etc. on Saturday morning (9:30 p.m.) Heats/race for lanes on Saturday afternoon (5:00 p.m.)
- Finals A-B etc. on Sunday morning (10:30 p.m.)

Boats: Only a limited number of loan boats are available and will be preferably given to the overseas teams. For request, please fulfill the form “A” by 16th April 2014

Closing Date for Classification Nominations for classification for International Para-rowing regatta should be submitted on the attached form. In order to make sufficient preparations, we would like to receive classification nominations by April 16th, 2014 (form B).
