“An increased number of lambs forward met a firm enquiry throughout. A lot of handy weights were forward again which hindered the gross price per head averages but when 39kg lambs are coming to mid 90’s vendors should be encouraged to capitalize on these grand returns. There was a severe shortage of ewes which met a trade every bit as dear as last week. More are required on a weekly basis to fulfill the ever-growing order book here in Dingwall.”
