Steven Dietz (born June 23, 1958) is an American playwright. The vast majority of Dietz's Different . A commission from ACT Theatre to write "God's Country" brought him to , in 1988, and he lived and worked in Seattle Norman .Blumensaadt,Katherine Schroeder, Royce Gehrels, Paula Ruth Gilbert from 1991 to 2006. He now divides his time between Seattle and Austin, Texas where he teaches playwriting and directing at the University of Texas at Austin . He is the recipient of the PEN U.S.A. Award in Drama ( for Lonely Planet , perhaps his most widely performed work); the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays Award (Fiction and Still Life With Iris); the Lila Wallace/Reader's Digest Award (The Rememberer); the Yomiuri Shinbun Award for his adaptation of Shusaku Endo 's Silence; and the 2007 Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Mystery for his adaptation of William Gillette's and Arthur Conan Doyle 's 1899 play Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. Dietz is also a twotime finalist for the prestigious Steinberg New Play Award (for "Last of the Boys" and "Becky's New Car"), given by the American Theatre Critics Association. He was awarded the 2016 Steinberg New Play Award Citation for "Bloomsday." JAMES JENNINGS (Lighting Designer) has been a lighting designer for numerous theatre productions as well as corporate & special events including ICE! at the Gaylord Texan and performances by Dirty Vegas, Ellie Goulding, and others. In 2012, James returned to the theatre with the Trinity Street Player’s production of Proof, followed by Blood Brothers . James won a Broadway World Austin Award 2015 for his design on Carrie (Austin Theater Project). He has worked with 7 different theater companies in the last 4 years and would like to thank Jen for the love and support.

KATHERINE WEHLER (Stage Manager) played Nancy in When We Are Married for Different Stages. Prior to moving here, she earned her BFA in Acting/BA in Feminist Studies from UC Santa Barbara and also studied with the Yale School of Drama in the Midsummer Program in Oxford, England. She runs a local class for empowering the female voice through movement and vocal expression, and also recently dialect coached and assistant directed The Mousetrap at City Theatre. Favorite acting credits include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Naked Shakes Productions and Vi in Beckett’s Come and Go .
