IMPORTANT: The car traffic is very intense throughout all the day in Brussels, thus taking a metro or tram is much faster that taking a taxi.

FROM THE AIRPORT & (GARE DU MIDI) Airport train from BRU Zaventem to Gare du Midi (€7.60) then metro line 2/6, direction Simonis-Elisabeth, to the metro stop Louise/Louiza (€2). Once out of the metro, with the Nespresso shop on your right, walk straight ahead for 5 mins until you reach Place Stéphanie. Then turn right into Ch. de Charleroi and walk 2 blocks. The PentaHotel is on your left.

FROM THE AIRPORT Take the train connecting to Brussels Midi or Brussels Central and follow below instructions.

FROM TRAIN STATIONS Stations: Brussels Midi/Zuid or Brussels Central Timetables & Reservations: http://www.b-rail.be

From these stations to MCE Conference Centre, it takes about 15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by public transport.

From Brussels Take bus no. 38 (estimated time 30 min ) and ask the driver to stop at "rue Van Eyck". From there, cross "Chaussée de Vleurgat" and take "rue Américaine". You will get to a square surrounded by trees that is called Place Alb. Leemans. From that square, MCE is within walking distance, first street on the left from "Rue Washington" (estimated time 5min) IMAGE 1

From Brussels Midi / Zuid Take metro line 2 or 6, direction Elisabeth, and stop at the 3rd metro-station "Louise/Louiza". From here you can take tram 93 (direction "Legrand") or tram 94 (direction "Musée du tram/Tramsmuseum" and get off at the 3rd stop "Bailli/Baljuw". From here you can walk to the MCE building. If you are staying for a few days, it’s recommended to purchase the 10-journey ticket (around 12 euros). Distances are quite short in Brussels, generally. Walking is often the fastest and most pleasant way to move around.

TAXI SERVICES

The average cost of a taxi from the airport to the centre is 45EUR and from the train station – GARE DU MIDI to the centre around 20EUR. Mention to the taxi driver first if you want to pay with a credit card – very few taxis have this service unfortunately.
