Lisgar Flooding Pumps at Cactus Gate

Staff, consultants and I were on hand at a Public Open House on June 14 as part of the Environmental Assess- ment process in presenting to the public the options and plans around installing a unique piece of infra- structure to address flooding in basements of homes situated near the Sixteen Mile Creek. The recommended plan is to design a Utility Trench Dewatering System and Permanent Pump System, hopefully as one single below grade unit, and install it in the publically owned property along Black Walnut Trail opposite Cactus Gate. This work is still on track to take place later this year.
