Albay - Legazpi City – Cam Sur – Naga City Tour 3 Days Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Aug 6 7:30 am - Assembly at designated pick-up area for prayers with tour safety briefing - Start of travel to Legazpi city and Albay province - Legazpi city Mayon lava gully – where lava, pyroclastic and mud flows during eruption - Optional ATV ride – All-terrain vehicle where one or two person travel off-road on the slope of Mayon Volcano - Visit and photosession at Sto. Domingo Memorial Park for Mayon eruction victims of 2006. 10:00 am - Snack of Bicol delicacies - Visit and optional shopping at Sto Domingo hand-made paper wall decors manufacturer - Stop-over and optional shopping with demo at Tabaco city Pilinut Center (pilinut candies, brittles,etc) and Tabaco city Cutlery industry (knives, scissors, kitchen and garden utensils, samurai wall decor). 12:00 nn - Lunch of Bicol cuisines at accredited local restaurant - Rolling tour of Tiwi power-generation drillings at the mountain site of Aboitiz Power Plant - Stop-over at Tiwi Church and Ceramics/Pottery outlets - one of the churches visited by pilgrims. The side of the church is pottery and ceramics outlets made through the primitive and the most modern technology of ceramics. Tiwi can provide the world with world-class decorative ceramics made of terra cotta, the red clay, with employed glazing technology. - Mayon Skyline Park and Planetarium (formerly known as Mayon Rest house) - This is located on the eastern slope of Mayon Volcano which is about 2,750 feet above sea level. It is said to be an excellent summer resort because of its cool temperature. One attraction of the Mayon Skyline is its very own planetarium. 3:00 pm - Snack of Bicol native delicacies. - Legazpi twilight tour

- St. Gregory the Great Cathedral (Albay Cathedral) - is the Episcopal Seat of the Diocese of Legazpi. The cathedral started as a wooden chapel built by early Spanish missionaries who moved into the town in the 1580s. It was damaged by American bombers and reconstruction went beyond 1951. - Oriental Hotel – the newest hotel in Legazpi City situated on Taysan Hill overlooking the alluring and cordial cityscape. - Embarcadero de Legazpi and seaside sightseeing passing thru Gaisano Pacific Mall - The waterfront and roadway of the Port of Legazpi City, Albay Province, derives its name from the Spanish verb embarcar, meaning "to embark”.(optional Zip Line passing thru Legazpi city seawater at pax account) Legazpi Boulevard - at night - is one of the newest attractions in the city with panoramic view and restobars for leisure and entertainment. The Legazpi Boulevard is the second longest boulevard in the country, after Roxas Boulevard in Metro Manila. 6:30 pm - Travel to Legazpi accommodation, dinner and free time Day 2 Aug 7 7:30 am - Assembly with prayers and preparation for the scheduled tour / visit. - Liñon Hill Leisure Park - a panoramic view of Mt. Mayon and a 360-degree view of the city and the neighboring municipalities. It also has a 40-meter-long and 7-foot-deep tunnel which the Japanese forces used as an arsenal during World War II. On top of the hill is a 320- meter zipline from which tourists can soar through the chilly air, with the scenic Mt. Mayon in the background

Albay - Legazpi City – Cam Sur – Naga City Tour 3 Days Tour Itinerary

- Daraga Church (Our Lady of the Gate Church) - An 18th century baroque church poised on a hill with commanding views of the sea and Mayon Volcano. Its stone masons suffused the facade with statuary, carvings, alcoves and niches at different levels. This Church was built after the eruption of Mayon Volcano which covered the original church of the town at Cagsawa. It is a NHI heritage place. - Cagsawa Ruins - a historical place devastated by Mayon Volcano eruption in 1814. It stand today as a park with the church belfry as a background. Inside and outside the park are souvenir outlets of Bikol native products, T-shirts and other collector’s item (optional ATV ride at pax account) 10:00 am - Snack of Bicol delicacies - Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave is a multi-level cavern of natural limestone situated at the village of Cotmon in Camalig, Albay. It was discovered during the Japanesse occupation and become one of the most popular and easily accessible caves in Albay. The gentle and breezy wind that blows through the numerous openings of the cave gave birth to its name Hoyop-Hoyopan which was derived from the vernacular word “hoyop” which means to blow. - Optional World War II Japanese Tunnel exploration - is an L-shaped tunnel used as an arsenal by the Japanese Imperial Army during the World War II. It measures 40 metres (130 ft) long and around 7 feet (2.1 m) deep below the ground. - Lunch at famous ‘Pinangat’ restaurant with briefing and demo on pinangat-making. - Kawa-Kawa Meditation and Spiritual Hill - Located at Village, Tuburan, City. Kawaka Hill is derived from the local dialect "kawa" or native cauldron resembling its crater. It is used to be called "lunad", a Ligao term which means "sagging" or "depressed" and literally describes the six-hectare spiritual and meditation area. It features different religious relics and bigger than life-size religious statues. - Stopover and optional shopping at souvenir abaca products in Daraga handicraft center. - Travel back to Legazpi City accommodation Day 3 Aug 8 6:30 am - Assembly with prayers and preparation for Cam Sur and Naga City tour. - Nabua Veterans Park. -This was founded by old-timers long-serving members of the military who has had much active service in the armed forces. An obelisk was built in Nabua Veterans Park dedicated to the Unknown Soldier of Nabua who has been part of Nabua’s history. - Nabua Ladrillo Church (Now the Vicariate of the Holy Cross) - The existence of Nabua as a municipality dates back to as early as 1571 when Fray Alonzo Jimenez, an Augustinian missionary, started his first Church mission in the settlement known before as Lupa. Porta Santa - An allure spot where it stand at Nabua Ladrillo Church’s main gate. - Stopover and sightseeing at Cam Sur Watersports Complex (CWC) - This is a watersports park designed for wakeboarding, wakeskating and waterskiing. It is the site of national and international watersports competition ( Ironman , Triathlon, Wakeboarding International, etc) 9:00 am - Snack of bicol delicacies - Rolling tour of Naga City historical, spiritual and commercial destinations - San Francisco Church Ruins the oldest church in the , the old San Francisco church is the surrender site of the last Spanish governor to serve the province of Ambos Camarines. It was completely destroyed in 1915 and was not rebuilt until 1957 with only the base of the bell tower remaining of the old structure. - Plaza Quince Marteres. A plaza built in honor of the fifteen Bicol martyrs who were executed by a firing squad of the Spanish colonizers.

Albay - Legazpi City – Cam Sur – Naga City Tour 3 Days Tour Itinerary

- Plaza Rizal. This monument-cum-park ideally located at downtown Naga was built in honor of the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. This is known locally as the center for public debates and discussions, family picnic gatherings and public recreation and relaxation spot. - Naga Basilica Church - Thousands of pilgrims flock to this home to the miraculous image of Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia during the September celebration of the Peñafrancia fiesta. It is the permanent home of Inah, the patroness of the Bicolanos. - Holy Rosary Seminary and Museum - situated beside the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral and was founded in 1793 becoming the second school in the Philippines. This is the seminary where Bicolano hero Jose Maria Panganiban and Bishop Jorge Barlin studied. - Museo del Seminario Concillar de Nueva Caceres - located in the central pavilion of the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary. On display are relics and historical materials in four exhibit areas. - Stopover at Church and Leaning Bell Tower, Milaor, - formerly known as Milaod, this town was founded in 1585 by Spanish missionaries. It was also during this year when the parish was created, making St. Joseph as its patron saint. The Church which stands today was once a big convent and monastery built by Frays Juan del Sacramento and Jose de la Virgen. Along with this Church is its leaning bell tower which is said to be likened with the leaning tower of Pisa in Italy. 5:00 pm - Travel back to Legazpi city with stopover in Bato Pancit Factory – a famous manufacturer of Bicol native pansit noodles of the municipality of Bato. 7:00 pm - ETA in Legazpi City accommodation END OF TOUR
