Vasyl Baluk, village head in the village of Velykyi Hovyliv (Khorostiv Territorial Community): “To install a sculpture portrait of the well-known Ukrainian writer, politician and public figure Yevhen Olesnytskyi, it was a longstanding dream so that the residents of our settlement could give honors to their fellow villager and also have one more tourist attraction. The authors of the artistic work are sculpturer Roman Vilhushynskyi and architect Ivan Zhovnych and the project was funded by the Continental Farmers Group, our reliable partner.”

Volodymyr Honcharenko, village head of the village of Oliyiv (Zboriv district): “Interior renovations were performed at the outpatients’ clinic of the village of Oliyiv and there was not enough money to finish three rooms, so we approached the Continental Farmers Group, our local agricultural company. The Company helped finish the work, in particular, it funded the replacement of the floors, decoration of the walls and ceiling as well as arranging water, electricity and heating supply. Now, our doctors would be able to provide medical assistance in comfortable conditions that, in turn, would help the patients to get well fast.”

Andrii Bobrovskyi, Chief Physician of the Shumsk Communal Central District Hospital (Shumsk district): “Children-patients who find themselves in the hospital, most of all, want to go to the games room where they forget sickness or pain for a time. Now it is not just completed. New toys have been bought for this room as well as different implements and our artist-designers did a good job decorating it. We managed to complete one of the renovation stages at the department due to our close cooperation with the Continental Farmers Group and to the local benefactors who showed some personal involvement.”

We hope that now it would be more pleasure and fun to have some rest during breaks between lessons and near the school.”

Oleksandr Malitskyi, Head of Culture Division at the Town Council (Pidvolochysk district): “We supported out culture establishment on our own and performed some minor repairs ourselves, however, we did not have money for larger projects. We found a reliable partner that has been helping us for a while, for a number of years, actually, to improve our recreation center. The Continental Farmers Group helped fund the major repair of the toilet room and the tiring-room and paid for the partial winterization of the room where children’s dancing group is practicing. This is not the first time the Continental Farmers Group helps us: two years ago the Company funded the replacement of the laminated flooring in the rooms of the institution. We are glad that the business company is not indifferent to the fate of our recreation center and the company responds to our requests.”

Andrii Hermak, village head of the village of Livyntsi (Kelmentsi district): “Our cooperation with the Company is a good experience of a partnership with a responsible business. When we approach them with our requests, we have a positive feedback and understanding. We began installing street lighting using our own resources but, to do it throughout the entire village, our resources were not sufficient. The agricultural company helped us finish the work. Now the streets are lit up, and this means a significant improvement of the life in our village.”

28 Volodymyr Ustratii, resident of the village of Dynivtsi (Novoselytsia district): “Our village did not have a place where our younger residents could entertain themselves. There was a site near the stadium where we could locate a kids’ playing ground. We proposed to implement this project to the agricultural company – the Continental Farmers Group – that operates in our village. Now we have a new playing ground where kids willingly play and we have several hundred kids in our settlement.”

Ivan Kovaliuk, head of Vikno Territorial Community (Zastavna district): “Running repairs have been performed to the administrative building in the village of Vikno using our joint efforts with the Continental Farmers Group. Due to our cooperation with the agricultural company, we partly replaced windows and doors in the building. We are grateful to the Company for its help both in implementing large-scale projects and solving our current problems.”

33 KEY PROJECTS IN THE IVANO-FRANKIVSK REGION

Roman Syndetskyi, General Director, Tysmenytsia Communal Central District Hospital (Tysmenytsia district): “Without Continental Farmers Group’s assistance, we would not have been able to receive the humanitarian cargo from Europe. Thanks to these beds, we have provided a full set of equipment and implements for the in-patient facility. They are comfortable and functional. Aside from that, the Company purchased special mattresses for these beds that are manufactured to order. They are durable to wash and decontamination and have water-resistant coating. As early as in the spring, they also provided us with an oxygen concentrator. At that time, no one else bought or used them yet. In March-April of the last year, there were the first coronavirus patients and we were ready to help them. That oxygen concentrator provided by the Continental Farmers Group was like the first robin: it was the sample that we used as a benchmark to choose similar equipment in the future.”

34 Yaroslav Savchuk, village head at the Korshiv Territorial Community (Kolomyia district): “Before that, we replaced windows at the Zhukotyn preparatory school, so we needed to install window jambs. In some places, facade plaster flaked off, so we decided to renovate the facade as well. The Continental Farmers Group financed the purchase of the construction materials: the glue, hard putty, foam plastic for warm insulation, cement, lime, sand etc. As a result, we could renovate part of the facade.”
