The crisp fall air heralds the emergence of golden hues, native asters, and graceful grasses in our . Take a nature walk through our Meadow or delight in the sounds of children’s laughter in our Pumpkin Playground and along our Garden Railway. Set your heart aglow throughout October when Asian-inspired lanterns adorn our Conservatory. Starting October 25, meticulously grown into unique forms are the stars of Festival. In November, join us for our Silk Road performing arts series, as we explore the rich culture of this ancient trade route. This autumn, it’s all about amazement. Encore! Fountain Performances Day and Night The weather may be turning cooler, but we’re still turning up the heat. Don’t miss the last of this year’s incredible Main Fountain Garden performances. Chrysanthemum Festival On View October 25–November 18 Experience the largest display of exhibition chrysanthemums in the United States. Our horticulture experts work daily throughout the seasons to meticulously nurture and train more than 17,000 chrysanthemums into giant orbs, spirals, pagodas, columns, and even more unique forms—including a traditional fan shape making its debut this year. In late October, the unveiling of the Thousand Bloom Mum—a single plant bearing more than 1,500 perfect blooms—takes our display to a whole new level. The result is simply astounding.

A Longwood Christmas On View November 22, 2018–January 6, 2019 This holiday season we pay homage to the Christmas tree with an imaginative display of traditional favorites and inspiring new twists, with festive firs suspended from above to towering tannenbaums created from books, stained glass, and other unexpected materials. Outdoors, gloriously illuminated trees lead you on an enchanting holiday journey through our Gardens. Sip cocoa and warm up by our welcoming firepits, listen to carolers sharing the melodic sounds of the season, and relish in the beauty and wonder of A Longwood Christmas.

Non-Peak Days Peak Days Crowds are lighter! Visit late—After 8 pm is great! Mondays through Thursdays from All Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays November 22–January 6 (excluding from November 23–December 23, December 26–31 and January 1) and every day December 26, 2018– and every day January 4–6. January 1, 2019. Non-Peak Day hours: 9 am–10 pm Peak Day hours: 9 am–10 pm Member’s Complimentary Guest Member’s Complimentary Guest Tickets accepted. Tickets are not accepted. Check your tickets as restrictions may apply. Visiting as a Member? NEW: Member Reservations Required Every Day After 2 pm New this year, Members may visit anytime, but require free timed Member reservations every day during A Longwood Christmas if visiting after 2 pm. Gardens Premium Members and those included in their Membership level do not require reservations. Member reservations are limited, and sell out is likely. With a timed Member reservation, you may enter the Gardens as early as a half- hour before or as late as a half-hour after your entry time. Later or earlier arrivals cannot be accommodated. You may stay as long as you wish once you enter the Gardens. Member Guests & General Admission Buy Before You Arrive • Timed Tickets Required • Tickets Limited Admission to A Longwood Christmas is by Timed Admission Ticket only with tickets issued for a specific date and time. Guests not included in a Membership require a Timed Admission Ticket. We cannot accommodate a Member’s request for tickets if we are sold out. Purchase in advance as tickets sell out. Using Complimentary Guest Tickets? Many complimentary admission tickets are not valid on Peak Days. Check your tickets as restrictions may apply.

Gardens Hours Parking October 4–October 27 Longwood offers free parking and Sundays–Wednesdays transportation is provided between 9 am–6 pm remote parking and the Gardens. Thursdays–Saturdays For Your Convenience Extended hours until 9 pm with Longwood Gardens covers many Illuminated Fountain Performances acres. There are no shuttles within October 28–November 18 the Gardens.
