The club received an offer for Danny which we were unable to turn down and I’d like to wish him all the best in the next stage of his career. Marcel Hilßner has joined us on loan from Coventry City and I was really encouraged with his performance at Walsall. That Marcel was able to play for over 60 minutes despite his recent lack of game-time was a credit to him. We still need to get him match-fit but we have already seen that he is a strong competitor and will be an important addition to the squad. With a full week to prepare for today’s fixture, we have looked to make full use of our time in training so our levels are at their highest for what will be a big challenge. This is a season like no other and we have already seen how close our division is in terms of the quality of teams and the Walsall are a competitive team with a direct style of playing. current spread of points.
