・Faculty of Education: Gifu Normal School (1873) ・Faculty of Regional Studies:Faculty of General Education (1965) ・School of Medicine: Gifu Prefectural Women’s Medical College (1944) ・Faculty of Engineering:Gifu Prefectural Higher Technical School (1942) ・Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences:Gifu Agricultural and Forestry College (1923)

All faculties have master course graduate schools. School of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering have doctor course graduate schools. United graduate schools for doctor’s degree are available in Drug Discovery/Medical Information Sciences, Agricultural Science, and Veterinary Medicine. Total number of students counts approximately 8,000. Foreign students and researchers/scientists were 604 in the year 2014.

Sustainable Circulation System of Postgraduate Programs by International Collaboration Academic Activities of Indonesian students Gifu University Rearing Program for Basin Water Environmental Leaders(BWEL): BWEL Program was selected by Japanese Government in 2009. The aim of the rearing program is to foster environmental leaders who can precisely understand the extremely serious problems that developing countries face in the basin water environment in a Lecture by Edwina Zainal at multidirectional field of vision, and can Gifu Municipal Yonan Junior design and enforce strategic solution Lecture by Dwi Priyo Ariyanto (D3) High School measures and preventive approaches for the occurrence of new problems.
