El Paso Western Pipelines has arranged a special room rate for NAESB at the

CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN RESORT 3225 Broadmoor Valley Road Springs, CO 80906

Up to 30 Guest rooms at $187.00 per night, single occupancy/$235.00 per night double occupancy, subject to applicable taxes. This price includes dinner in the Mountain View Dining Room. For any extracurricular activity which would take the guests, as a group, away from the resort for dinner, $18 per person will be refunded.

Shuttle transportation to and from the COS cost is $28, round trip. If you will need the shuttle, be sure to let your reservations representative know at the time you reserve your room.

Tentative reservations have been made for the NAESB group at the world-famous Flying W Ranch for dinner the night of Wednesday, August 25, 2004. The evening starts with a visit to the old western town of over a dozen completely restored buildings furnished with authentic contents of the 1800's and early 1900's.

After dinner you will be entertained by the Flying W Wranglers. The Wranglers specialize in beautiful 3 part vocal harmonies about the romantic American Cowboy. Their voices are outstanding and their western humor is very entertaining. The Wranglers also rank among some of the finest musicians in the country, all playing several different instruments. The show is always family-oriented.

The complete package price is $17.50. This includes admission to the western town, supper, our famous western stage show, tax and tip. The western town opens at 4:30 PM, seats for supper at 7:15, and the show begins around 8:30. Everything is over by 9:30.

EXTRACURRICULAR GROUP ACTIVITY

The Resort has offered the NAESB participants a “Twilight Golf Special” for Thursday afternoon, August 26, starting at a 4:00 p.m. tee time. The price will be $70.00 per person for 18 holes at the world-class Cheyenne Mountain Golf course.

If you are interested in participating in this activity, please contact Mary Gravil at El Paso Corporation by email at [email protected] or by phone at 719-520-4732 no later than July 24, 2004. Anyone wanting to participate in this golf outing will need to be pre-registered. Anyone who has not registered with Mary Gravil prior to July 24 will not be eligible for this price or tee time. All fees for the golf outing will be charged to the participants’ room bill.

GOLF COURSE (Country Club of Colorado at Cheyenne Mountain Resort)

Country Club of Colorado golf course is a private, 18-hole championship course offering majestic views of the mountain range and a 35 acre lake that comes into play on 5 holes along the back nine. This beautiful, traditional style course with a mountain flavor was designed by the renowned architect, Pete Dye, and plays a comfortable 5,357 yards from the red tees, 6,469 yards from the white tees to a challenging 7,059 yards from the blue tees. Golfers of every ability will find this early Pete Dye course challenging and exciting. The course is spike free and open to guests of Cheyenne Mountain Resort and Country Club of Colorado members only. Due to our private membership, a dress code is strictly enforced - please dress appropriately.

Men are requested to wear traditional golf shirts with collars and sleeves, along with appropriate tailored slacks or traditional golf shorts. Spikeless golf shoes or smooth soled athletic shoes are required.

DIRECTIONS TO CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN RESORT

From the Colorado Springs Airport: The airport exit connects to Drennan Road. Continue west on Drennan Road to Academy Boulevard. Go left (South) on Academy to Highway 115 (the road curves to the right from south to west). Go North on Highway 115 to Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. Turn left on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. and proceed 1 block to Broadmoor Valley Road. Turn left on Broadmoor Valley Road and go about 3 blocks to the Main entrance of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort on the left.

From the Denver Airport: From the airport, you will be starting on Peña Blvd. (westbound is the only option). Where Pena merges with I-70, take I-70 West and stay in the right lane to merge onto I-225. After about a mile on I-70, you will transition onto I-225 southbound. I- 225 will take you to I-25. Take I-25 south. Once on I-25, it is about 60 miles to Colorado Springs. Take Exit 138, Circle Drive, to the right (west) and continue through four traffic lights (approximately 1.5 miles). Merge to the left lane of traffic. Turn left at the Highway 115 exit and go South to Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. Turn right on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. and proceed 1 block to Broadmoor Valley Road. Turn left on Broadmoor Valley Road and go about 3 blocks to the Main entrance of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort on the left.

DIRECTIONS to EL PASO WESTERN PIPELINES’ OFFICES from CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN RESORT

Exit from Cheyenne Mountain Resort turning right (north) onto Broadmoor Valley Road. Turn right on Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard for one block to Highway 115 (Nevada Avenue). Proceed left (north) on Highway 115 to Pikes Peak. Go left (west) on Pikes Peak. Outdoor parking next to El Paso’s offices is available ½ block from Nevada on right, or continue on Pikes Peak for two blocks to Cascade Avenue. Turn right (north) on Cascade and go one block to Kiowa. Turn right (east) on Kiowa and go 1 ½ blocks to parking garage entrance on right. Parking garage joins with El Paso office building on the 2nd floor. You will need to check in at the Security Desk on the 1st floor to receive a Visitor Badge.
