Top supporter, Andy Thommo Thomp- son who probably turns up to watch more games than anyone else during the summer is now back on duty with Darlington FC as their kitman.

Well done Thommo! We need more supporters like you. Darlington Cricket Club—club round up

The first team have slipped up in their last two league encounters and will be hoping to get back to winning ways in the remainder of their games which are away to Richmondshire and Ayton and home to Mar- ske.

The second eleven after a poor start to their campaign have done a bril- liant job of pulling it around and now are just 15 and 17 points behind Guisborough and Richmondshire as the top second team in Division 1 (for which there is a shield awarded) currently lying in 8th spot.

The thirds have pulled their season around too. Defending the trophy they won last year they are currently at the top of Sunday Division 1 but only a couple of points ahead of the chasing pack led by Redcar.

The club has worked hard to get junior sides out over the season. The Under 13s have performed best of all despite losing several games to the weather and other factors. Big E’s Under 11 squad have learned a lot over the season and are now a team to be reckoned with. The under 17s have included many of the under 15s over the season. Both sides have had to rely on players who are already established in senior sides.

The Under 17s players who will be too old next year for Junior cricket are to be thanked for their efforts for the club during their time as juniors and we hope to see them progress as young adults at our club.

Thanks to all members who have helped with Junior sides this season.

The Ladies cricket team have made solid progress over the year and now have enough players to field two senior teams and a girls team. They are on the look out for a coach who can take them forward during the winter with some sessions indoors.

Steve Charlton has been updating and modernising the club website and this is about ready for public viewing. The club newsletters are now pub- lished on the website.
