Qi (pronounced “chee”) is the world’s de facto wireless charging standard for mobile phones, including brands such as Apple, Samsung, , LG, , and many others. A growing number of Qi- Certified wireless charging pads and stands are taking the place of charging cords. These Qi-Certified chargers can be placed almost anywhere and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors to blend in to any home or office environment.

What to look for: Qi Certified

The most important factor to look for in choosing a wireless charger is whether it’s Qi Certified. A Qi- Certified smartphone is compatible with any Qi-Certified charger and is built to be safe and reliable. To make sure that the product design has been tested and certified, look for it in the Wireless Power Consortium’s Product Database.
