Candidates wishing to teach secondary or all grade levels must declare a co-major of Secondary Education (SCED and a major in the discipline area they plan to teach: Secondary: English, History, Mathematics, Earth/Space, Physics, Spanish, or Theater: All-Grade: Health/PE and Visual Art. It is also possible to seek further licensure in Mild Interventions and Reading with additional coursework. Candidates should seek advising early in their degree programs.

NOTE: A total of 43 SCED/EDUC credit hours are required for the Secondary Education Co-Major. A cumulative GPA of 2.70 is required in order to continue in the SCED Program.
