Antonio-Juan Briones-Peñalver is an Assistant Professor of Management at Technical University of Cartagena (Spain) and researcher for the Portugal International Centre (CIEO), mention of European Doctorate (Doctorate with European accreditation). His research interest is focused on the study of entrepreneurs, start-up business projects, firms´ cooperation & strategic alliances, and, in general, busi- ness collaboration relationships along the European Union. In the last years he has been leading several Projects of International Cooperation for Development issues between the European Union and Central America, sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is currently Postgraduate Coordinator and Permanent Training and Collaborator at the “Office of Creation of Technology-Based Companies, Chair of Entrepreneurs ” at Technical University of Cartagena. Before joining the University, he occupied positions as Economist and Executive Director in several Agribusiness companies.

Luiz Fernando Magalhães Carvalho is a Computer Scientist versed in Data Science. He holds a B.Sc and a M.Sc degree, both from Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG, where he studied and developed research around data processing, mining and other tasks related to modern data sciences techniques. He has worked in several international and governmental projects, for example, with data management for national information system of healthcare and currently works at one of the top-level competitors at the Financial sector, Itaú Bank, Brazil, also as a data scientist.

Eric Costa is currently a researcher at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Tech- nology and Science (INESC TEC) in Portugal. He is also a Ph.D. Student in Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP) in Portugal. His doctoral research aims to study and design information management and collaborative network solutions to improve the support provided by industrial business associations to the internationalisation of SMEs, following a Design Science Research approach. He accomplished his M.Sc. degree in 2012, in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management, at the University of Minho in Portugal. His master thesis was performed under the topic of Lean Management, with the aim of analysing and reducing setup times of metal-mechanic machines of an industrial company. His current research interests include design sci- ence research, digital platforms, collaborative networks, information management, industrial business associations, and SME internationalisation.

Francisco Esteves is 57 years old, born in Ponte de Sor, Portugal, currently Delivery Manager at Winning Scientific Management, has done his professional career since 1978 in Banking industry, global Consulting companies, and IT multinational companies. Luander Falcão has developed professional and academic activities, aimed at understanding phe- nomena and understanding what correlations exist between events. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with emphasis on Competitive Intelligence, MBA in Finance and Controllership and a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences from PUC Minas. It also holds a CIP, Competitive Intelligence Professional, level I and II, awarded by the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence (ACI). He is currently developing analytics projects, elaborating sectoral and regional studies, such as Competitive Intelligence Specialist, through geoprocessing tools, building prospective scenarios, intelligence projects, small data and quantitative modeling. He also develops activities as a lecturer in intelligence events, a postgraduate teacher, and has chapters of books already published.

Fábio Gonçalves holds a Master Degree in Information Science from the Faculties of Engineering and Letters of the University of Porto. This degree was conferred following the Degree in Information Science, granted by the same institutions. He is currently a Key Account and Business Development Manager at IPBRICK S.A., where he works directly with document management software and man- ages and cooperates with several entities related to numerous areas. To this date he has participated in events such as the IV Post-Graduation Workshop on Information Science and the VIII Iberian Encounter EDICIC. His master’s dissertation had as its theme the development of a model of innovation indicators applied to an academic context, a topic on which he develops research and study dynamics and which he seeks to deepen.

Fernando Gonçalves has a Master’s Degree in Organization and Information Systems and Gradu- ated in Management. Global IT Manager at Grupo Nabeiro - Delta Cafés, the biggest coffee roaster in Iberia. Previous management experiences both at private and public sector. Lecturer of Information Systems Governance at Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees at the School of Business and Administration of Polytechnic Institute of Setubal. Member of ISACA, European Club for Information Systems Governance, Portuguese Economists Association, Portuguese Informa- tion Society Promotion and Development Association, and Accountants Portuguese Chamber. Author of papers, articles, and reports on management and information systems.

Zulmira Hartz holds a licence in education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, a degree in Medicine from FESO-Rio de Janeiro, and an MA and PhD in Community Health from the Université de Montreal. She also completed a post-doc at the École Nationale de Santé Publique-France. She is a full researcher in Epidemiology at ENSP/Fiocruz (retired), where she coordinated the MA and PhD programs in Public Health, having also coordinated the postgraduate program of the FIOCRUZ. She was also an invited professor at the Department of Social Medicine of the University of Montréal, where she is still an associate researcher of the Groupe de Recherche Interdisciplinaire en Santé (GRIS). She was a deputy director of the Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública (Fiocruz) and deputy director at

Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical/University NOVA of Lisbon. She is currently a full professor, and the convenor of the module on Health Evaluation of the PhD Program in International Health at IHMT/NOVA.

Cecilia Carvalho Jamil is a Brazilian fashion researcher and designer with a Master’s diploma from Stockholm University, where she had the opportunity to develop an academic research related to the creative process of fashion. She has a background in Fashion Design and has expanded her studies towards the management of international luxury brands at the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. She had chapters and reviews in former books at IGI. Her past experiences in product development and mar- keting in the fashion industry have given her the basis for further explorations regarding the structures, systems and processes employed in this sector.

Liliane Carvalho Jamil is a Medical Doctor, undergraduate by Federal University of Minas Gerais. She had training in hospitals and research centers in Brazil, United States and England, in areas such as emergency room services and plastic surgery. Nowadays Liliane works as a professional intern of Plastic Surgery Clinic of Felicio Rocho Hospital in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais and is coursing the Masters in Medicine area at Unifesp, , Brazil.

Dhouha Jaziri is a Lecturer at FSEGSO, University of Sousse. She obtained her PhD degree in marketing from the high institute of management of Tunis (ISG, Tunis). Her research concerns the experiential marketing, the knowledge management, the customer knowledge management, innovation management, anti-consumption behavior, digital field. She has a set of peer-reviewed publications and communications such as Tunisia (2012, 2013), Algeria (2008), Cardiff, Great Britain (2013), GECSO (2013,2016) Nancy/Paris- France, Lithuania (2013), Spain (2015). She was a member of program com- mittee, in the workshop of BIO- WorldCIST’15 –(Portugal, 2015-2017). Likewise, she is a member of editorial Advisory Board (IGI global) and she is reviewer of books’ chapters and articles in high ranked journals in marketing and management field. Moreover, she published her first book entitled: “The Handbook of Research on Tacit Knowledge Management for organizational success”, which was released in April, 2017 by IGI Global USA.

Brenner Lopes is a partner in the consulting firm Nous SenseMaking, specializing in Intelligence, Strategy and Advanced Data Analytics, where he serves as director of consulting and new business. Previously in the Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Companies, he oversaw the man- agement of the Business Intelligence Unit; having also worked in several other units such as territorial development, public policies, strategies and guidelines and project office. He was a consultant to the João Pinheiro Foundation in the Statistics and Information Center and a partner in a Market Research Institute. He is a researcher and post-graduate professor at several universities. Economist, with mas- ter’s degree in administration, also has several specializations, such as: High Management Program in a Globalized Environment (ESADE-ITAM); High Political and Strategy Studies (War Superior School); Strategic Information Management (UFMG); Superior Studies of Strategic Planning (Public Security Secretariat of the State of Minas Gerais).

Sérgio Maravilhas Lopes has two Post-Docs (UFBA in Patents and innovation + UNIFACS in FAB LABS, both with Grants). He has a PhD in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms, a Master in Information Management (FEUP + Sheffield Univ. UK), a Postgraduate Course in ICT, a Specialization in Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship (FEUP+NCSU, USA) and a Degree in Philosophy. Sérgio is a frequent author, editor and reviewer for IGI Global journals, books and periodicals.

Jorge Lima de Magalhães is a FUll Professor and Researcher in Public Health at FIOCRUZ – Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in Brazil. Coordinator in the Masters’ Program in Management, Research and Development in the Pharmaceutical Industry at Fiocruz. Postgraduate by Aix Marseille Université, France in Competitive Intelligence for Public Health. Renuka Mahajan, PhD, is an academician and researcher with more than 19 years of total experience in Information Technology, including 17 years in academics and 2 ½ years in corporate field. She has published research papers in reputed scopus journals of springer EAIT, Inderscience IJIL, Inderscience IJDATS, Inderscience IJLEG, JIOS and few other conference proceedings. Flávia Maria Lins Mendes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Federal Uni- versity of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) (2009) and Doctoral (2014) degrees in Chemical Engineering from Graduate Program in Chemical and Biochemical Process Technologies at UFRJ. In 2016 concluded the MBA in Project Management at IBMEC. Since 2009 works as a researcher in SIQUIM (Chemicals Industry Information System) developing foresight studies in many areas of chemical industry. Specialist in search and analysis of patent documents. In 2016 was invited to integrate a group of foresight study in Strategic Management Center at FIOCRUZ.

Marlede Menezes has a Master’s Degree in Management, Research and Development in Pharma- ceutical Industry at FIOCRUZ / Farmanguinhos. Graduation in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) (2013). Post-graduation at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in Industrial Pharmaceutical Technology (Conclusion: 2016). Richa Misra, PhD, is working as an Assistant Professor (General Management) in Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida. She has done her Doctorate in Management from Amity University. Maria Manuela Pinto is an assistant Professor and member of CIC.DIGITAL (Centre for Research in Communication, Information and Digital Culture), at the University of Porto - Faculty of Arts and Humanities, also collaborating with CITE (Centre of Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship), at the associated laboratory INESC TEC (Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science). She holds a PhD in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms (University of Porto and University of Aveiro), with a thesis entitled “Information Management in Public Portuguese Universities: Rethinking and proposal of a model”, a specialization in Documental Sciences () and a graduation in History (University of Porto). Previously she was ICT business manager in private companies (1985-1996), information manager in a municipality (1998-2004) and lecturer in Documental Sciences (FLUC, 2000-2005). She is still involved in entrepreneurship extracurricular activities and coordination member of V.IVE! (Living the Innovation and Entrepreneurship at U.Porto).

Jose Poças Rascão (PhD, ISCTE/ULI) is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Portugal. From 2010 to 2015 was Director of course management of distribution and logistics. It is research in the Research Unit in the development of enterprise (UNIDE) at the Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE/ULI). Since 2000 has published 8 books and 8 chapters of books on strategy management and management of information and more than 36 publications on strategy and information management. Under his supervision, 17 Master These have been successfully concluded, from 2007 to 2016, with three more coming up for defense in the next two years. He also works the private management consultant for large and medium-sized enterprises. He worked the management consult at Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand between 1989 and 1995.

Leandro Henrique Rocha dos Santos is an entrepreneur of market intelligence and market research, in topics related to strategic management information and knowledge management (at IN3 Informação, Inovação and Inteligência Company). He had his BsC of Communication Sciences from Pontificia Uni- versidade Catolica and Masters in Management, studying Marketing Information Systems applied for healthcare consultancy at Fumec University, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

António Lucas Soares is a researcher at INESC TEC and associate professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering - University of Porto. His area of expertise is In- formation Systems specialised in applications to Collaborative Networks and Information and Knowledge Management particularly in industrial organisations. His research interests include socio-technical design, knowledge representation, digital platforms for collaboration, design science research. He is currently coordinating the Centre for Enterprise Systems Engineering and the Cluster Industry & Innovation of INESC TEC. At University of Porto, he is the director of the master programme in Information Science (FEUP/FLUP). He is member of the executive committee of the European chapter of the iSchools organi- sation and a founding member of the Portuguese Chapter of the Association for Information Systems. He publishes regularly in scientific journals in the areas of information and knowledge management.

Jorge Pinho de Sousa is full professor in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. He is a research coordinator at INESC TEC where he has been coordinator of the Centre for Enterprise Systems Engineering for around 15 years, with a regular participation in European R&D projects. Maria Alexandra Lobo Xavier studied Chemical Engineering from Faculty of Science & Technology of Coimbra University. MBA from the Porto Business School. Alexandra Xavier joined INESC Porto in January 2004 to found the Canter for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship and Let-In, the Laboratory for Technology Enterprises. Her activity is focus on Innovation Management and Technol- ogy Entrepreneurship. Collaborates with the Masters in Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto/Portugal, where she teaches several lectures. She also teaches for 5 years in a private University of Marketing IPAM. Between 2000 and 2003, she works in Sonae.com, where she was responsible for the implementation of new media projects. She also have an extensive experience as a senior consulting in Accenture, when she was responsible for several projects in the areas of Information Systems, Strategic Management and Organisation with a special focus in Port Wine, Manufacturing, Utilities and Finance sectors.
